The pretty village of Sedgeford is just slightly inland of the stunning Norfolk coastline and is an area of archaeological interest with rich heritage spanning over four thousand years with the discovery of an Anglo-Saxon settlement within the parish. The King William IV Country Inn & Restaurant serves quality local food enjoyed sat next to cosy log fires and with views across the surrounding countryside. The nearby village of Heacham offers cycle-hire and a popular promenade to stroll upon all the way to Hunstanton. Close by is Norfolk Lavender; take in the aroma from the glorious lavender filled fields or let the little ones enjoy exploring the small animal farm and Farmer Fred’s play barn. The surrounding countryside is often best explored by foot with the popular Peddars Way trail meandering the outskirts of the village. There are a variety of lovely sandy beaches close by, Old Hunstanton, Brancaster and Wells-next-the-Sea to name a few. Also, within easy reach at Titchwell and Snettisham RSPB sites which attract nature and bird enthusiasts all year round.
