A lovely, bright ground floor apartment with views of Swanage Pier.  Situated in an elevated position within walking distance of the town, the sandy beach, the Downs and to Durlston Country Park.  The Retreat is a delightful one bedroom apartment providing room for four - with use of the sofa bed in the lounge -the perfect base to explore the fabulous Jurassic coast.

Kitchen/Diner: Electric fan oven and hob, undercounter fridge with freezer box, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster. CD player and CD's. Large window with views of Swanage Bay. Round dining table with seating for four plus child's highchair. 

Living room: Comfortable 2 seater sofa bed (available upon request), matching armchair, flat screen TV, DVD player. Large picture windows with views of Swanage Bay. (Fold out camp bed available on request for 1 child).

A lovely, comfortable and well equipped apartment in a superb location within a short walking distance of the town. We didn't find the hill too bad! We loved the views and enjoyed exploring the local area. Would definitely return.

Superb place as noted by others. So convenient for easy access to the town centre and shops and beach as well as to the SW coastal path. The hill to the town is a 300 yds and quite steep (recommend stopping regularly to admire the attractive chimney pots on the way up) but not a problem even for us 80 yr olds, and is good training for the coastal Read morepaths undulations. Parking could be a problem as it's on-street wherever there is a space in a major holiday area. But we found no real problems in October at the end of season. So much to see and visit in Dorset from this centre and we had a very enjoyable, great mini break here and would be very happy to return in the future to continue the exploration. Definitely recommended. Hide

Well equipped appartment. Very clean. Great views over the bay. Close to shops, pubs and restaurants. We had a very plesant stay.

The property is lovely and in a great location for the town centre, although it is a very hilly route back up to the flat. The views from the flat are lovely and we would highly recommend this place

A most comfortable and well equipped apartment with a wonderful view of Swanage bay. Its situation at the top of a very steep hill may not be suitable for anyone with mobility limitations.
