Cynan nos Da is a spacious first floor apartment full of character, located above a family-run bookshop on the high street in the bustling coastal town of Menai Bridge. The apartment has been lovingly renovated and extended to retain many original features whilst also possessing all modern conveniences, marrying together contemporary style with local roots and literary heritage. Named after a renowned Welsh poet who lived a stone's throw away and who is buried in the scenic churchyard on St Tysilio's island in the shadow of the Menai Suspension Bridge.

Just 100m from the seafront, the apartment is located in a charming and vibrant part of town, with plentiful shopping and eating opportunities on the doorstep. Although directly on Menai Bridge High Street, it is a peaceful location with numerous stunning walks and chances to see local wildlife, such as the abundant sea bird population, possible seal sightings and even the local red squirrel population. An excellent base for exploring further afield - the whole of the Isle of Anglesey and Snowdonia National Park are all within a day-trip. Walkers will enjoy Anglesey coastal path, and visits to Beaumaris Castle and Llanddwyn Island are a great day out.

Fantastic for everything - apartment all we could wish for. The area was magical beside the Menai Strait, wonderful dining in walking distance of the property. Weather was also perfect. Highly recommended on all fronts

Handy for self-catering, with Waitrose within easy walking distance. The flat is accessed via two quite steep narrow flights of stairs, and a couple more steps up to the bedroom, but the extra loo is handy, and the flat is pleasant and well-appointed. The shower is in quite a high-sided bath.

An extremely comfortable apartment situated in the centre of a pleasant town, which has everything one would need. Easy access to the other parts of Anglesey and Snowdonia.

We chose this apartment because of its location: It is close to the bus stops, good restaurants and Waitrose. From Menai Bridge we managed to walk around the island's coast path using buses, trains and the occasional taxi. It was always a pleasure to return to the comfortable flat in the evening.

A fantastic place to stay, very clean, comfortable and well equipped and in a fabulous location. This has been a lovely spot to stay for our trip to Anglesey. It has been a while since we've been here, but our first time in Menai Bridge. The location has proved to be really handy, and because the weather has been kind we spent two days afternoons/evenings on beaches, Newborough and Cemaes, both very different, but a real holiday away from homeRead more vibe. A beautiful and cosy place to stay. It's very well equipped and the owners were very kind and close by whenever we had any questions. We wholeheartedly recommend it and would love to come back! For the food, the recommendation HAS to be Dylan's. Eat there and take a walk by the Strait and around Clutch Island, you won't regret it. Thank you!
