Hywelfa is the perfect holiday cottage, in a wonderful location. The drive accommodates 2 large vehicles and the house is spacious, easily accommodating 10 people ( we were a party of 9, with 3 generations). The kitchen is the best equipped of any holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. The lounge is possibly a little on the small side, but the conRead moreservatory is huge, with amazing views. The garden is a little steep, but this did not stop the youngsters (aged 10-13) in our party having a good time outside. The 'hidden' path in the front garden means that the beach is a stone's throw away. Abersoch is a lovely little place and St Tudwels Inn does surprisinglygood food. We would probably give Pwllhelia miss, but there is free parking on the embankment. Further afield, Caernarfon Castle is worth a visit and The Beacon climbing centre good. We would definitely recommend Hywelfa Hide

The property lies down single track windy roads so be prepared. Due to its elevated position it has amazing views of the bay. It is on a very steep hill so anyone with mobility issues cannot walk anywhere. There is a 20 min short cut through the golf course to Abersoch for those who can. The property itself is lovely with everything you Could poRead moressibly need. Added bonus of Netflix for those teenagers. Bring your own games and cards.
