This delightful and beautifully refurbished cottage, formed from part of the old chapel, dating back to 1834, has been very tastefully furnished with both comfort and quality in mind. With its arched windows, hand crafted kitchen and luxurious bathrooms, it is the ideal place to stay when exploring in and around the Yorkshire Dales. It is an exceptionally well-equipped cottage with lots of thoughtful extras added to make sure your stay is a memorable and comfortable one.

This property offers sumptuous and extremely well-equipped accommodation, with four beautifully appointed bedrooms, two luxurious bathrooms and a smart and cosy living room, it makes it the perfect place for families and friends to get together.

The Chapel Cottage sits in a corner of the village, commanding a prime position over the village green, with numerous walks and some fantastic cycling routes all around. If you fancy eating out, why not try the Cornmill Tearoom next door serving delicious light lunches and afternoon tea.

The village green is a great little spot to take out the chairs and picnic hamper or a bottle of wine and watch the world go by, whilst the children may prefer to head across the green to the play area.

Bainbridge, in the middle of picturesque Wensleydale, is one of the favourite villages of visitors to the Yorkshire Dales. The wide village greens, children's play area and the local pub, which serves food, enjoy a backdrop of the fells, making this one of the prettiest villages. Basic supplies are available at the small village store in Sycamore Hall whilst a variety of shops can be found just four and a half miles away in Hawes.

The market towns of Hawes and Leyburn lie at either end of Wensleydale; both hold market days where you can sample some good quality local produce, as well as the world-famous Wensleydale Cheese Factory.

Lovely cottage forming one half of a converted chapel in the wonderfully located village of Bainbridge. Spread over three floors with the kitchen and living and dining area on the first floor. Well equipped and felt more like a home than a holiday let. We stayed during an unseasonably cold April week and the cottage was always cosy and well heated.Read more We would very happily return.
