Superb location with the cottage clearly being a high end property. Only a mile and a half from the town down a gated private roadway some 300 yards to the (again gated) entrance to the cottage grounds. The perfect place for a relaxing week. We were fortunate with weather so did not venture far other than walking along the banks of the River Wye wRead morehich is right alongside the property. If we wanted to go further afield there were multiple options to chose from. I would certainly highly recommend Rocks Cottage as it was just about perfect for our needs Hide

This was probably the most immaculate property I have ever rented, it was absolutely spotless, above and beyond. The beds were super comfortable, everything cosy and warm. We will return.

We loved watching and listening to all the birds, and it was great being able to walk straight from the door. It was a very easy, comfortable cottage to be in.

Rocks cottage is a superb property in a lovely setting. It is very comfortable with two lovely bedrooms with smart shower rooms. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of cooking dishes and smart crockery. The owners put up a Christmas tree and some extra lights, so we felt festive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property.

A high quality property in a peaceful but not isolated location. Lovely walks along the river right from the door! Great for two couples. Recommend visiting the Elan Valley dams and the Brecon Beacons National Park visitor centre at Libanus.

Excellent property , decorated and equipped to a very high standard. Ease walk in to the town which is a delight. The outside furniture is one of the most comfortable sets we have had. The location next to the river Wye is so very scenic and the rocks in river make it fast flowing , hence the cottage name. The house keeper was most helpful
