Mullions Nook is a stunning quirky detached one bedroomed barn conversion, circa 17th century and Grade 2 Listed, the Mullions which sits just across the quiet lane and is also available for rent.
The conversion of the barn completed in February 2021 and included the installation of brand-new kitchen and en suite bathroom whilst preserving all the historic features of this stone barn such as the stone staircase up to the front door, the exposed stonework to interior walls and chunky original wooden beamed floors to the upstairs.
The barn lies down a quiet back lane leading up to the village pub which serves excellent meals and beyond it the village shop, together only some 300m away.
Buckden is one of the most beautiful Dales villages nestled at the top of Wharfedale and surrounded in all directions by simply stunning countryside. The Nook has its own stone flagged and gated parking space and a pretty garden with seating. Sit quietly and hear nothing but the wind, the babbling of nearby Buckden Beck and the raucous crows in their rookery in the trees above.
