The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped and welcoming. It is situated in a lovely village with two pubs and a nice local shop. It is close to some fantastic sandy beaches and Holy Island. The owners are lovely and dogs are made to feel very welcome, with a nice escape proof garden to run around in. I would highly recommend this property.

The cottage was ideally situated to explore Northumberland, this was our first time in the area and we loved it! The accommodation was exactly what we wanted, clean, comfortable, warm and cosy and the owners were friendly and on hand if needed. We had such a great time, we will be returning in the future.

Dingley Dell is a wonderful cottage. Having had a motorhome previously this was our first venture into a dog friendly cottage and it was amazing! The lounge was so comfortable with everything you need. TV and WiFi and we loved the look of the electric fire. The bedroom had an amazing sized bed which was very comfortable and the windows let us seeRead more the stars and the very bright moon which we had during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with microwave, oven and hob, fridge with ice box and washing machine and tumble drier. The bathroom was massive with a whirlpool bath with overhead shower but is being changed to a walk in shower for next year which will make it much more accessible. The hosts, Sue and Phil were super friendly and they left a lovely welcome hamper. We didnt really use the little patio outside but it is a lovely touch and you can use the owners garden which is a nice touch too. Lowick has two pubs which we used. Had meals in them both which we would recommend. Lowick Stores is amazing with freshly baked produce. The quiches and sausage rolls were amazing! Very convenient for so many places in North Northumberland. We visited Ford and Etal, St Cuthberts Cave, Routin Linn Waterfall, Berwick, Cocklawburn Beach, Bamburgh and Seahouses, Holy Island, The Duddo Five Stones, Twizel Castle and Bridge and the Flodden Battlefields. All in all, we had a fantastic time and were very lucky with the weather. Thank you so much Sue and Phil for a lovely homely cottage, which was exceptionally clean. Hide

We had a wonderful weeks break in Northumberland. The cottage was lovely and perfect and doggy friendly. The owners who live next could not have been nicer. The cottage is in a perfect location and near all the attractions beautiful Northumberland has to offer. I cannot recommend this cottage too highly.

A very nice cottage in a good location to explore Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. High ceilings, therefore it felt spacious in the cottage. The bed was indeed a super kingsize. The village has 2 pubs where you can get a good meal.

Dingley Dell is perfect, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It has everything you need, and the spa bath adds some luxury. Loved the velux windows and being able to look at the stars at night (there are blinds if you prefer it dark).
