Shicley is one of 4 cottages and has an open plan split level ground floor and is set in 13 acres originally built as farm cottages with their many original features. Located near the village of Trefin within walking distance of Aberfelin bay and the famous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The north coast of the St. Davids Peninsula is nearby Trefn lies between the villages of Porthgain and Abercastle, take a walk through the private footpath down to Aberfelin beach, this quaint coastal village, despite being small in size, boasts good facilities for locals and holidaymakers alike.

Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: Leather sofas, large flat screen smart TV, woodburner. Ceramic hob, fridge with icebox, microwave, electric hob and oven and dishwasher.  Table and chairs. Back door opens onto a garden area ideal for barbeques and then to 13 acres where children can play and explore as they like

Bedroom 1: Spacious double bed overlooking the old farm and courtyard.

Bedroom 2: Twin bedded room, low beds and low eaves

Bathroom: Large corner bath, heated towel rail, wash hand basin and toilet

Pets: Two well behaved pets welcome

Heating: Underfloor heating with radiator in main bedroom.

Garden: Garden area ideal for BBQ’s. Communal play area with swings, slide and a fireman’s pole with furniture. 

Utility Room: Communal utility room with washing machine

Short Breaks: Accepted but not in peak weeks.

Notes: Bed Linen and Towels provided. This is a non- smoking property. Mobile phone signal variable. Wi Fi. Saturday – Saturday changeover. Shared utility area with washing machine. Step between the dining area and lounge (not suitable for visitors with mobility or eyesight issues. Also step within the main bedroom and the entrance doorway into the twin room.

Lovely cottage in a good peaceful location, close to coastal path and small cove. Trefin village very pretty. Close to nearby villages and beaches.

Beautiful area with helpful hosts. We had a lovely time, however cottage is not suitable for people over 5'10" tall. There are low beams. Guests might want to take their own kitchen knives as the nice ones provided were not very sharp. Also upstairs windows are not suitable for unattended children.

Good location, clean and well equipped. Not suitable for people with mobility issues with a spiral staircase and low ceilings upstairs and steps on the ground floor. Also the entrance down to the front door was uneven with no obvious step.

Extremely happy with the accommodation and location was perfect for us. Managed to explore a lot of the local area and great pubs and restaurants within 20 minutes amazing trip.

Stayed at Shicley with my partner and two dogs. It had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The dogs loved it, particularly the grassy area outside to run around. Short walk to Trefin beach and coastal path, or to the village.
