A very well equipped, lovely upside down cottage in the heart of Dartmouth. Having an outside terrace and a garage was an absolute bonus. Its position does lend itself to outside noise but this did not bother or disturb us. One of the bedrooms is internal which may not suit everybody, but was not an issue for us.

Great cottage, great location and benefit of the garage which was huge! Would recommend staying here if you want to be in the heart of Dartmouth like we did. The cottage is steps away from the Rockfish and Dartmouth Arms which we highly recommend.

PROS Spacious upstairs lounge / kitchen - well appointed and comfortable. Plenty pots, pans cutlery etc. Bath towels provided though small. Outside roof terrace. Private garage - very important. Central town location. Central heating. Bathroom with a bath. Large screen TV. CONS Holiday Cottages good on first call but next day there wRead moreas a lack of response - made 5 phone calls and at least 5 on-line Chats, no one in local office all day. Air expel very noisy and does not operate during showering /bath time however engages itself on over night till morning, very disruptive. Main bedroom downstairs is on roadside with shower in bedroom. Second bedroom has no windows. Very small understairs toilet / sink with light sensor turning off after 5 seconds! Bathroom light sensor turns off in 7 seconds! Faulty washer drier previously reported in reviews by guests and then ourselves 2 weeks prior to our arrival. Promised it would be fixed but heating section was still faulty during our stay and we had to dry clothes on radiators. No freezer or ice box. CONCLUSION This is a good rental but would be much better rental if the agents and owner responded to all the fixable problems. Hide

Fantastic location in Dartmouth with a garage! That alone ticked the boxes that made us book. The property has been done out tastefully and although it seemed odd having a shower in the bedroom, it worked well for us (& was a great shower) as we had a teenager with us! So two bathrooms great! Only problem is the washer/dryer didnt work properlyRead more and there wasnt time for them to do anything about it during our stay. The agents bought us an airer to dry our wet clothes on. No idea why one isnt supplied at the property. Hopefully they will sort that problem out with a new machine and if so, we would happily stay again. Note they are not generous with towels so you might want to bring a few of your own especially if staying longer than a few days and want to wash your hair! Hide
