Situated just a 5 minute walk from Swanage town and beach, Sunny Place is a newly built two bedroom apartment perfectly suited for couples looking to explore the purbecks. The apartment is located on the ground floor and benefits from a large private landscaped patio area with outside seating. Throughout the apartment there are a series of double patio doors from the bedrooms and living spaces which open out to this area too. Relax and enjoy an evening with friends in the open plan 'L' shaped kitchen, living and dining area, with stylish and comfortable seating in the living area and glimpses of the beach. Overhead feature lights hang from the ceiling over the solid wood kitchen island, the kitchen is modern and well equipped with shaker style units and contemporary white worktops - it is a lovely space to enjoy rustling up a meal or a sunday breakfast before heading out to explore.

A hallway from the kitchen leads you to the two double bedrooms and family bathroom. Sunny Place offers an element of privacy and lends itself to two groups holidaying together, with a lovely big master en-suite bedroom with walk in shower, the bedroom has double doors that open out to the patio area too. The second double bedroom just across the hallway is modern and beautifully furnished, again with double patio doors and access to the family bathroom adjacent. 

Sunny Place is a comfortable holiday home for friends and family to make their home during their stay. Spend your holiday enjoying all that Swanage has to offer with a beautiful sandy beach, rock pools by the Victorian pier and plenty of places to enjoy a local ice cream after a day at the beach! The high street is varied and vibrant and has many places to eat and drink - from cafes, pubs and restaurants to the traditional seaside fare of fish and chips. If you wish to venture further afield you can hop on the steam train which runs from April and September to the historic ruin and town of Corfe Castle.

Great property with everything we needed, although if you are planning to stay in in the evenings, the tv is very small. Great set up for a dog as outside area is gated and fenced.

A great place to stay very clean, and a good size. Great with the dogs to have an enclosed area outside, and some grass garden. Also great to have parking for 2 cars. Walking distance to the town and beach (although up a hill on the way back!). Will defiantly look to return.

We had a lovely stay at Sunny Place which is a beautiful apartment. For us the location up the hill was fine however the only negatives were a few aspects of the cleaning. Cleaning service needs to be improved. Unfortunately the underfloor heating had been turned off and it took 24 hours to warm up.

It would have been nice to know that access was via very steep hills which is hard for people with a disability or an age, My wife and i could not walk to the town or the pier. When a repair was completed on our second day we were left keys which did not fit the two gates which was a nuisance. .

A spacious well equipped modern flat with good parking and a pleasant ambiance Cleanliness was generally good but could have benefitted from a deep clean of cooker hood oven etc Close to town but st Hill too steep for us oldies to walk. Parking can be difficult in town short term or you pay

This is the second year at Sunny place. Parking is excellent and it has its own enclosed south west facing patio. Its great also for anyone with mobility issues as all on one level. If there was a down side, its a bit of a walk, if you have mobility issues to the bin store. However overall its a great place to stay.

Very nice and comfortable to relax in steps at the Entrance a little steep for people with limited abilities but you can open the side gate.

We had a lovely stay at sunny place, the apartment is well equipped with lovely outside space. We had scones, jam and clotted cream left for us with milk in the fridge when we arrived, which was a lovely touch. We come to Swanage every year and would definitely stay here again

Sunny place is a lovely ground floor, well equipped modern apartment. The main living area and both double bedrooms have patio doors opening onto the secure south facing courtyard area with outside seating. There is alway ample parking for two cars on site. A very new property, decorated very nicely, with comfortable seating, a nice TV and with 2 parking spaces a bonus. Great location, although not for older people who are unable to walk up the hill from the seafront. A bonus to have an outdoor table and chairs. A nice and comfortable, spacious apartment. A few negative points - it would have Read morebeen really nice to have had the welcome pack, as after a long drive on arrival, to have to then go out and buy milk for a cup of tea, when we had expected milk to be there was not ideal. We couldn't believe that in such a new property, the toilet rolls were not fixed to the wall. We have never stayed anywhere before where there was only 1 dishwasher tablet, half a toilet roll in each of the bathrooms - used and handled by the previous people I suspect - and only one bin liner for the main bin, which is not enough when self-catering. When using the oven for the first time, so much smoke came out that it kept setting the smoke alarms off many times and the oven tray was greasy and dirty. A few of the main cooking utensils were also dirty. There did not seem to be a way of fixing the plugs so a bowl of water could be used to shave/wash in (in both bathrooms), so this had to be done under a running tap. The blind fixing/pulley in one of the bedrooms did not work, so the blind had to be put up and down by turning the roll. Hide

Really nice place but please please please sort out the beds. They are so squeaky. Particularly the one without the en-suite. Such a shame it just takes the edge off having a 100% positive experience. Please get new bed bases - could even be a new divan base - mattress is fine. Lovely flat. spacious and in excellent condition.unfortunately the beds and mattresses were very cheap and uncomfortable. otherwise the scores would have been much higher.
