Weathervane Cottage is an extremely stylish cottage, beautifully refurbished, whilst retaining many of the original character features and atmosphere. On entering you will immediately feel relaxed and comforted by the large inglenook fireplace with wood-burning stove. The flagstone flooring and colourful artwork - depicting a local harbour scene - and the reclaimed wooden coat stand with the use of driftwood art evokes a feeling of being by the beach. Decorated in muted coastal tones of blues and greys, this cottage stands out for its design and quality interior. King size beds will ensure your comfort and with two bathrooms, there’s limited queuing for the shower. The fitted kitchen, with views down across the town, is a delightful space to spend time preparing local fresh fish that you can purchase from the quayside in Looe virtually straight off the boats or alternatively you can dine out locally at a choice of restaurants.

The gardens and terraces are a wonderful feature at Weathervane Cottage. The cottage sits on a hillside so there are varying levels within the enclosed garden and strategically-placed seating ensures you can enjoy the best of the sun and the views down to the harbour and sea. Imagine breakfast on the terrace whilst planning your day and sundowners in the evening soaking up the sunset.

The cottage was beautiful. Although the hill towards it is steep, the view is worth every step! The town of Looe is beautiful and we could have spent all week there, but there are so many fun things to do we are thinking of coming back!

Nikki was really friendly on arrival and helped set up the central heating. The property was beautiful and we felt at home, the welcome pack went down really well. A great home and great location , the walk up the bank was challenging for our older guest that stayed with us.

Excellent location for walking into Looe town only 5 minutes but a very steep hill to walk back up. Had a lovely holiday and weather was especially kind to us. Cottage was comfortable and clean and owners responded quickly to our fry for help with blocked drain.

Beautiful cottage with great facilities and amazing views. Plenty of room for 5 of us staying, loved the tiered garden with two fabulous patios both with great views. Lovely luxurious stay, the walk back up the hill got easier as the week went by and it was worth it for the views. Great location, we parked up when we arrived and didnt use the car uRead morentil it was time to leave. Great location, the walk from Looe to Polperro with fish & chips at the 3 Pilchards was fantastic, Looe has plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. We will definitely be back!! Hide
