Deep Dene is a wonderful  spacious Southwold holiday cottage recently extended and refurbished downstairs offering bright modern rooms and including bifold doors making the garden a delightful added living space. It also benefits from the added bonus of the beach, pier and marshes being literally a stone's throw away!

This family friendly self-catering holiday home is ideally located, close to the stylish shops, cafes and pubs in Southwold. The property is very comfortably furnished and provides a great base to explore Southwold and the surrounding areas. Accommodation is over two floors with three bedrooms sleeping five guests. On the ground floor the accommodation offers a well equipped modern kitchen, a spacious living/dining room with a wood burning stove and bifold doors which lead to a pretty and exceptionally private rear garden including garden hot/cold shower for after swimming in the sea or washing off muddy dogs. A driveway to the front offering private parking for one car.

The property is located in the exceptionally popular Pier area of Southwold, close to the prom and pretty pastel painted beach huts. This is perfect if you’re looking for a holiday home on the Suffolk coast, close to the beach, town’s amenities and easy access to the many footpaths across the marshes.

Southwold Pier Area - It is often said that nothing changes in Southwold. However, the much-acclaimed pier was rebuilt in 2001 and was the first to be constructed in England in over 50 years. It now fits in well with the painted beach huts, promenade and colourful flowerbeds. There is a shop, cafes and an alternative amusement arcade there. The selection of properties' hereabouts makes it an ideal location to stay in Southwold if you require quiet accommodation that is also close to the beach, town centre and the many footpaths across the marshes leading you to the less explored areas of the town.

We've stayed in many houses in Southwold over the years but we've particularly enjoyed our stay here. The house is gorgeous, really spacious and well laid out, with lovely decor. The location by the pier is great too. Would definitely stay again.

A very comfortable, clean and well equipped property in a fabulous location. 1 minute to the beach, 10 minutes to the town. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 dogs.

Fabulous location right by the pier yet easy walking distance to town. Easy to park additional cars with plenty of parking on Pier avenue. Nice kitchen and bathroom.

Fantastic property in a prime location only a minutes from the beach and pier and a short walk to the shops. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area and good sized bedrooms. The large porch area is ideal for keeping coats, beach bags, pushchairs etc and the outdoor shower is perfect when returning from the beach...keeps most of the sand out Read moreof the house! Our dogs loved the private and fully enclosed garden, small but very safe and "escape-proof" with outside furniture too. We had a lovely holiday at Deep Dene. The cottage was clean and very well equipped and in a fantastic location so close to the beach. We have already decided to book for next year!

Dene house is a lovely spacious house. Beautifully presented with great artwork. So close to the sea too. And a beautiful secluded garden. Relaxing and peaceful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Deep Dene, a very comfortable house with lovely touches, such as the art work. The enclosed and private garden and off road parking are real assets. We loved being able to see the sea from the bedroom window, and hear the waves. We would certainly like to visit again.
