A delightful cottage with outstanding coastal and sea views offering extremely comfortable and good quality accommodation in the picturesque hilltop village of Mortehoe. Enjoying a southerly aspect, the cottage is at the far end of a terrace and has an amazing patio area that overlooks. the sea. Direct access to the South West Coastal Path is opposite the cottage, so this is the perfect location for walkers. You can enjoy a cosy atmosphere in the beautifully decorated living room which has wonderful views, and a newly installed wood burner on the slate hearth. There is an extremely well fitted kitchen with white modern units and a pretty dining room to the rear with patio doors to a small rear courtyard, with bistro table and BBQ. Upstairs you will find two tastefully decorated bedrooms the master King size has a brand new en-suite shower and the second bedroom has a set of twin beds. Both bedrooms have flat screen tv’s. The family bathroom has a modern bath with a separate electric shower cubicle.
Mortehoe with its pubs, post office and village store is surrounded by National Trust land with wonderful walks on the coastal path. Woolacombe is one-mile distance with far reaching views. Once discovered this lovely cottage is bound to be a firm favourite any time of year.
Accommodation:
Ground Floor Hall. Living room with 43 inch with smart tv, and woodburner. Kitchen with gas hob, electric fan oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Dining room with dining table and chairs, feature fireplace and a comfortable rocking chair.
First floor: Bedroom 1 with King, with en suite shower room, WC and basin. Bedroom 2 with Twin, Family Bathroom.
Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Patio furniture. One pet. Travel cot and high chair available. No smoking. Gas Central heating. Sorry, no short breaks; Arrival/Departure for weekly bookings is Saturday. Private parking at the front of the property, possibly for two cars dependent on size. Please approach with caution as the entrance may be challenging for larger vehicles. If you have more than one car, additional parking is available in the village car park (payable), by the post office. We are a conservation area and so no parking is allowed on the road outside the property.
