We had the most wonderful week at Dolphin Cottage! A cosy little haven in the centre of Braunton. The cottage was spotless, and we couldnt fault the facilities at all. The little yard was lovely and perfect for us to washout wetsuits. The cottage is well stocked with all the appliances you need. I brought my own washing stuff but there were some laRead moreundry pods provided too. The Co-op is a short walk away for all of your essentials and its the shortest of drives to our favourite beaches at Croyde and Saunton. Be prepared that you are in the town centre so its not the most peaceful spot but we didnt mind that at all. I would 100% stay again. Hide

A really well equipped property in a central location, which is what we wanted. Very comfortable and clean. Parking on the nearby road was not an issue. We would definitely book here again.

My holiday companion was my adult son who has Down syndrome with associated learning difficulties. It was lovely to spend 2 weeks quality time with him. My son took charge of the remote control(!) and learned how to access YouTube immediately so he could watch his favourite clips. We know the area well as my grandmother lived nearby so I visitedRead more frequently as a child and even attended Caen Primary school briefly. I wanted my children to create similar memories of Saunton Sands, Squires Fish & Chips etc that I had, so we rented cottages in N Devon many times. I must have been successful as they both wanted to visit N Devon as adults. The cottage was so comfortable and warm (we visited at the end of October). It was easy to imagine living there full time. Although parking next to the cottage was not possible, it was not a problem walking the short way to Wrafton Street for free parking. In any case, the cottage was so close to all that central Braunton could offer that we only used the car to go to Saunton Sands. Hide

An excellent property for two adults. We thought it might be a bit cramped with four adults. We found road side parking (2 cars) acceptable.
