Snape is best known as the venue for the Aldeburgh Festival and for other events throughout the year held in the Maltings Concert Hall. However, the pretty village, at the head of the tidal estuary, is a popular holiday venue in its own right and central for exploring the unique area of the Suffolk Heritage Coast - the tidal estuary and network of footpaths are one of the most interesting areas of Suffolk for exploring on foot. There is easy access to the fascinating coastal town of Aldeburgh, you are just 30 minutes from Southwold plus castles and much more to explore at Framlingham and Orford. The burial treasures at Sutton Hoo, near Woodbridge, should not be missed either.

Wow! Just what we had expected and as the description- space, modern, fully equipped and has luxury fittings. Its so unusual to find lovely properties to stay in that havent been abused and worn. The reviews speak for themselves and this was 9/10 for us. We may return in the future if the good comments continue

A great location without doubt. The lounge/kitchen area is fantastic. The front garden was in a bad condition. Not cut, hedging full of dry leaves and large holes on the lawn. That garden needs to be a feature again

One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Really comfortable beds (which is always important), plenty of seating in lounge which was also very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen with so much crockery, cutlery, glasses, etc and large fridge freezer which is always a bonus with several people. Showers were great and so much space, our greyhound hadRead more a fab time. Exceptionally clean and everything you needed. Great location for walks with and without dog and perfect location to visit other areas. Will definitely be visiting again Hide
