Perfectly situated tucked away in a quiet spot this charming cottage oozes character. With its open fire and intimate ambience this cosy holiday home makes the most perfect getaway. Accommodating four guests comfortably, Sideways Cottage is just a stone throw away from the vibrant heart of the wonderful town of Fowey well known for its sailing with its many shops, fine restaurants and eateries not to forget the popular Readymoney Cove which is just a short stroll away. During the summer you can sit outside the front on the seating provided and watch the world go by or during the winter you can snuggle up in front of the fire after a lovely coastal walk with a bottle of your choice, whatever the season Sideways Cottage will register in your book of memories!

GROUND FLOOR
Living/dining room: Ample seating, Smart TV, DVD player, open fire, dining room table and chairs

Kitchen: Electric oven, gas hob, extractor fan, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer.

FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 1: King size bed (5'), bedside tables, wardrobe, chair. 
Snug Room: Day bed, chest of drawers, access to twin bedroom.
Shower room: Shower cubicle, basin, heated towel rail, mirror, w.c.

SECOND FLOOR
Accessed through Bedroom 2 via a steep set of stairs through a loft hatch door.
Bedroom 3: Twin beds (2'6), bedside table, hanging rail, storage unit, sloping ceiling and Velux windows.

GARDEN & PARKING: To the front of the property there is an enclosed small garden with bench seat. Parking is not provided, the nearest car park is the Fowey Town Quay Landing car park- see Fowey parking for details of public car parks.


Power and Heat: Free Wi-Fi. Gas central heating throughout, electricity included in rent, heated towel rail in bathroom. 
Pets: 1 dog welcome, £25 per week. Information about bringing your pet.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: Cot and high chair.
Shop: 0.2 miles. Pub: 0.2 miles.

We loved the cottage - it was comfortable and well laid out. The location was superb, in the heart of town, but nice and quietly tucked away. The birds squawking and the church bells going off every hour through the night took a little getting used to - I can see where Daphne du Maurier got her inspiration for The Birds! Car parking was about Read more15 mins walk and that got busy at the end of the day when we returned from our day trips, so we sometimes had to wait for a space, but we always got one. All in all, a lovely cottage and Id definitely stay again. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay here- a lovely cottage in an amazing location in Fowey. The living area and bedrooms were perfect- very cosy. We found the kitchen and bathroom to be a little tired and in need of a refurb. But we would stay again!

Fantastic location right in the middle of Fowey, cafes and shops nearby. Although quite small every inch of space is used in this beautifully decorated cottage. Accommodated three of us and dog comfortably,definitely recommend, and hopefully we will be back.

Our second trip to Sideways Cottage! Great property close to the main street in Fowey with lots of fantastic places to eat. Very dog friendly with gates on the stairs and kitchen and a stable style front. Would definitely visit again.

Cosy comfy cottage that is situated very close to the centre of town. Had a great stay with our dog.
