Perfectly situated tucked away in a quiet spot this charming cottage oozes character. With its decorative fireplace and intimate ambience this cosy holiday home makes the most perfect getaway. Accommodating four guests comfortably, Sideways Cottage is just a stone throw away from the vibrant heart of the wonderful town of Fowey well known for its sailing with its many shops, fine restaurants and eateries not to forget the popular Readymoney Cove which is just a short stroll away. Unwind after a lovely coastal walk with a bottle of your choice, whatever the season Sideways Cottage will register in your book of memories!

GROUND FLOOR
Living/dining room: Ample seating, Smart TV, DVD player, decorative fireplace, dining room table and chairs

Kitchen: Electric oven, gas hob, extractor fan, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, Nespresso coffee machine

FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 1: King size bed (5'), bedside tables, wardrobe, chair. 
Snug Room: Day bed, chest of drawers, access to twin bedroom.
Shower room: Shower cubicle, basin, heated towel rail, mirror, w.c.

SECOND FLOOR
Accessed through Bedroom 2 via a steep set of stairs through a loft hatch door.
Bedroom 3: Twin beds (2'6), bedside table, hanging rail, storage unit, sloping ceiling and Velux windows.

GARDEN & PARKING: To the front of the property there is an enclosed courtyard. Parking is not provided, the nearest car park is the Fowey Town Quay Landing car park- see Fowey parking for details of public car parks.


Power and Heat: Free Wi-Fi. Gas central heating throughout, electricity included in rent, heated towel rail in bathroom. 
Pets: 2 dog welcome, £25 per week. Information about bringing your pet.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

A very disappointing rental. The property is shabby and tired in many respects the kitchen is particularly poor but the main bedroom is comfortable.

Adorable cottage in a terrific location close to shops and restaurants. We had a lovely stay. I highly recommend the property.

This cottage is in a fantastic location. We missed it in the description but the loft stairs to the 2nd twin bedroom is very steep and the hatch is only 400mm wide which is very narrow. Unless you are very nimble you may struggle with access.

We loved the cottage - it was comfortable and well laid out. The location was superb, in the heart of town, but nice and quietly tucked away. The birds squawking and the church bells going off every hour through the night took a little getting used to - I can see where Daphne du Maurier got her inspiration for The Birds! Car parking was about Read more15 mins walk and that got busy at the end of the day when we returned from our day trips, so we sometimes had to wait for a space, but we always got one. All in all, a lovely cottage and Id definitely stay again. Hide
