The Gables is a beautifully presented one bedroom apartment. Perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing getaway with everything on your doorstep. Wander down the streets of Porthleven and you will find the quaint harbour with a great selection of local shops, deli's and eateries. After a busy day step into The Gables light and airy open plan living space, perfect for lounging around in after a day enjoying the beach. Why not take a short drive a bit further afield to explore the surrounding area and head to the picturesque St Michaels Mount, a historic castle on a tidal island. At low tide you can stroll across the causeway where a legendary giant once walked or at high tide catch a boat. The Gables truly is is a perfect location to explore the corners of the South Coast or to enjoy a relaxing Cornish break.

UPPER FLOOR APARTMENT - ACCOMMODATION ALL ON ONE LEVEL:
Open Plan Kitchen/Lounge/Diner: Oven with hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Smart TV, dining table.
Bedroom: Super king-size bed (6'), bedside units, wardrobe, chest of drawers, feature fireplace.
Bathroom: Shower, basin, w.c., heated towel rail.

GARDEN & PARKING: Parking for one car. in designated space (labelled GBL).   Outdoor patio with table and two chairs. Outside shower attachment (shared with Torleven House) for rinsing the sand off after a day at the beach and an allocated bucket for wetsuits, swimming costumes and shorts. Outbuilding with shared Laundry Room facilities: Washing machine and tumble dryer. Shared with occupants of Torleven House.

Power and Heat: Electricity and heating included in rent. Heated towel rail in bathroom.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided. 
Shop: 0.2 mls. Pub: 0.2 mls.

This was our second stay at the Gables and again we were not disappointed. The property was spotless, I must comment on the great quality of the bath towels!! The welcome tray was a lovely touch and the cottage is so liveable and comfortable. The bed is great with the large bedroom having enough drawers and wardrobe space and the kitchen is reallRead morey well equipped. The parking space is invaluable and loved being a short walk from everything. I really liked the sheet in the welcome folder explaining the history of the property, great touch. Hide

The step in the bathroom was quite tricky as there was no night light working in the hall. Apart from that, everything was great. Super comfortable bed and a lovely roomy apartment

Absolutely stunning little apartment literally round the corner from the harbour. Fully stocked with everything needed for your stay, added bonus of breakfast tray, milk in fridge and cleaning pack (THANK YOU) Accommodation was comfortable clean and just like a home from home Parking was a bonus (little tight but manageable) Added bonus Food feRead morestival was in full swing when arrived and on all weekend. We absolutely love staying at The Gables, this is our second February half term visit. The property was spotless, warm and cosy. The location really couldn't be better, just a few minutes walk down to the harbour, with so many great options of food, drinks and lovely walks. We read a few reviews before arriving, about the parking being difficult, sRead moreo we were a little apprehensive as our car is significantly bigger than our previous visit. It was a little tight, but no problem really, just take it very steady! It's great to have allocated parking, especially so close to the harbour. The Gables was a lovely place to stay. Very cosy and comfortable and close to all the amenities that Porthleven has on offer. The drive is very steep and parking space adequate for a small car (Citron C2 size) but might struggle with a larger car.

The Gables is in a good location and very comfy in every way. Dedicated car parking really helped us too. The washing machine and dryer came in handy as we'd already been away for a week elsewhere before we got to Porthleven. Our 2nd stay, and very nice it was too!

One of the best equipped and presented cottages we have been to. Great location literally a few minutes walk to the harbour, shops and restaurants/pubs. A brilliant week.
