Janeiro is an end terrace former fisherman's cottage that has been carefully renovated and extended providing spacious accommodation which is perfect for families. There is a good size garden and private off-road parking. The well-known beach is less than five minutes away on foot as are all the local amenities in the pretty village centre. Couples booking this lovely property during some low season weeks will recieve a discount if they are only using one bedroom, making  it a perfect retreat for a winter breaks Shop/Pub: within walking distance.

With a 2017 Blue Flag Award for its beach, the village of Mundesley is an excellent location for a seaside holiday. Mundesley has a wonderful clean, wide beach and a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Some may enjoy a dip in the sea or perhaps just the chance to relax and enjoy the view, whilst children will love to play on the golden sands. There is a golf course driving range and skate park in the village with both horse riding and sea fishing available locally. Historic houses, steam trains, water sports and nature reserves are all within a short drive.

One of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot of places! Everything was spotlessly clean and the welcome hamper was lovely. The only downside was that we found the downstairs wet room rather chilly because the May weather decided to take a turn towards the Arctic during the week we stayed.

This cottage is an absolute gem! Positioned 2mins walk from the beach/shops/pub. Play area and recreation ground a stones throw away. Private driveway and a lovely garden with furniture. The cottage is spotlessly clean. Downstairs wet room was ideal showering sandy feet after returning from the beach. There is everything you need in the kitchen Read morecupboards, and the dishwasher and washing machine were appreciated. The lounge/dining areas are comfortable and airy. The top of stair steps are a little tricky due to steepness and twisting round. Our youngest who is five was made to sit on their bottom whilst going down. However they did love the bunk bed!! Double room at the front is very spacious with good wardrobe space and a hair dryer. Bathroom has a step down, but has a good layout. All in all would definitely stay again. A lovely cottage with everything we needed ,beautifully clean, a nice welcome basket and milk as well. Great location with sea views from the main bedroom , additional bonus of off street parking and a lovely well kept garden . Very helpful owners, we would love to stay there again .

Lovely cottage not far from the sea. Well equiped and decorated. Within walking distance of two pubs and the Haig Club. Well situated for exploring the north and east coast, Broads and Suffolk.

This cottage is home from home. Beautiful welcome basket. Very well equipped and just a short walk from the beach and lovely village shops. Our second visit will be back next year.

Lovely cosy well equipped cottage in walking distance from the beach and a lovely park which was perfect with our little ones! The cottage is also very well situated with easy access to a wide number local attractions and places. We would definitely recommend and will be back.

We loved our stay at Janeiro- it was clean, comfortable, cosy and a fantastic location. We particularly loved being able to eat out in the garden and spend time out there in the evenings. Having off-street parking was a huge bonus too. We had a lovely week at Janeiro the cottage, garden and the weather were beyond expectations. The description of the property provided was accurate and the welcome pack and toileteries were generous and had been given lots of thought as has the layout of the garden which was excellent. The owners are continuig with an upgrade plan on what is already a well presented and maintained cottage.

Janiero is a beautiful cottage situated a few minutes walk from Mundesley beach.The hosts Geoffrey and Maddie are very welcoming. Geoffrey met us on arrival and showed us around the cottage. They had left a beautiful note, chocolate and much appreciated milk in the fridge. It was the perfect start! The cottage itself is beautifully presented, neRead morewly refurbished with a well stocked kitchen. The hosts also provided a whole range of games and books, which is valuable if youre travelling with family. The bedrooms are very comfortable with the added bonus of a view of the sea from the main bedroom. Our little one loved the bunk beds and decoration in her room. This cottage has the extra special feature of a beautiful, well kept garden and we spent lots of time in it playing and enjoying the sunshine. It also has a barbecue and the hosts provided a single use tray which was appreciated for our first ever family barbecue. We highly recommend Janiero and cant wait to return.
