The relaxing living room features antique and vintage pieces as well as modern, contemporary furniture. The well equipped kitchen leads on to a small conservatory/dining area with access to the patio and secret garden beyond. Upstairs, accessed via a steep Norfolk winder staircase, there are two king-size beds and a bright, fresh shower room. This is a truly charming cottage from which to explore the best that north Norfolk has to offer. The village of North Creake is just a few minutes' drive from the north Norfolk coast and lies close to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, famed for its wildlife, walks and fantastic sandy beaches. The village pub and the Creake Abbey Cafe, Food Hall, Shops and Studios, where a great farmer's market is held on the first Saturday of the month, are both close at hand. In the heart of Nelson country, you are surrounded by The Burnhams - a collection of 7 hamlets and villages each with their own character. Visit the coastal village of Burnham-Overy-Staithe with its harbour for sailing, the birthplace of Lord Horatio Nelson at Burnham Thorpe or the ever popular Georgian village of Burnham Market with boutique shopping, delicatessens, wine merchants, galleries, interior design shops and more. The nearby coastal villages from Brancaster to Blakeney are all worth a visit, as is the historical seat of the Earls of Leicester at Holkham Hall and the Queen's Royal Estate at Sandringham.
