Halcyon is a delightful family home situated within the picturesque village of Georgeham. It has been recently renovated giving it a light and spacious feel.  The village boasts two local pubs serving real ales as well as a village shop, all just a short walk away.  The stunning three-mile expanse of golden sands at Putsborough is just over a mile away and is ideal for surfers and water enthusiasts. Seasoned surfers will be seduced by the Atlantic swells and excellent surf spots close by, while rookies can hire a board from one of the local surf schools under friendly, expert guidance, especially in Croyde.  For walkers take the South West Coastal path along one of the many dramatic cliff walks or to Croyde and enjoy a Devon cream tea afterwards.

The property has been designed to offer spacious living accommodation with a contemporary styled theme. The open plan kitchen/dining/living space has patio doors from both the dining area and living room which give access to the rear enclosed decked patio area with garden furniture.  The kitchen is fitted with a range of modern cream units and has everything you might need for a family meal. Leading from the kitchen is the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The living area is furnished with comfortable sofas and a snuggle seat which is ideal for curling up into next to the wood burner on cooler evenings.  From the living area you have a step which leads through to a peaceful study area which also has a library of books, jigsaws and board games. This in turn leads on to stairs taking you up to a snug with large sofa and smart TV, ideal for getting away for a quieter moment or for children with games. 

From the front door you have a downstairs cloakroom/WC and stairs to the first floor.  Bedroom one contains a King size bed and oak furniture which compliment this room with its lovely countryside views.  Bedroom two has a King size bed with a zip n link option into 2”6 single beds on request.  Bedroom three has a single bed.  The family bathroom has both a rain head shower and handheld attachment over the bath, a washbasin and WC, a heated towel radiator and underfloor heating.

The rear garden is approached via some steps which lead to a sloping lawned area which is partially fenced. Care should be taken with young children as there are additional steps in this area.  A garage provides storage for bikes and surfboards.

A real home from home accommodation, beautifully and tastefully decorated . My youngest son loved the PlayStation ! The utility room was particularly handy to have , away from the kitchen area . Beds very comfortable and lovely and quiet at night . Having a local shop a minutes walk away was very convenient.

Situated on a small quality housing estate we found this property to be very clean with good quality furniture, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and very comfortable beds The Freeview on the t.v had its moments due to a lack of signal but that sorted itself out in the end. The pub is within walking distance and serves lovely food, but you haveRead more to pre-book your table. Overall this is a good base to visit North Devon for beautiful scenery, stunning sandy beaches and a paradise for surfers. Hide

Fabulous property, comfortable, quality fit out and many nice touches. It's a great position in a lovely village with two great pubs and a few minutes drive from world class beaches.
