Superb detached spacious bungalow, completely refurbished to a good standard, tucked away in an elevated peaceful position, in this popular seaside Regency town of Sidmouth. Just over a ten minute walk to the beach, seafront with Esplanade and town centre with an excellent selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, theatre, a little further to the indoor swimming pool and cinema.

Completely refurbished and furnished with great care to a good standard.

Two steps into Hall. Lounge with sea glimpse, gas fire, french doors – four steps down to patio and garden. Well fitted and equipped Kitchen/diner, door to utility area/lobby for coats, boots, bikes, buggies etc

Bedroom 1: Kingsize.

Bedroom 2: Twin, distant views to woods.

Bathroom: Bath, over-bath shower, basin, WC.

Location and Area:
The famous beautiful Connaughts Gardens with an excellent range of plants and café are situated on the coastline, from these gardens a flight of white steps called ‘Jacobs Ladder’ takes you to the sandy beach below.

The seaside village of Branscombe with working forge, Old Bakery Tea rooms and mill, two traditional inns serving excellent food and the fishing village of Beer are a 15 minute drive away, passing by the famous Donkey Sanctuary at Weston.

The stunning coastal resort of Lyme Regis is only a 25 minute drive. Ideally positioned for the many coastal walks on the South West Coast Path.

A lovely cottage in an excellent location. We enjoyed our stay in the cottage with excellent kitchen and bathroom.

King size bed very comfortable though. Bring your own oven gloves. Very good quiet area to stay although a not to steep hill, but a hill, to property from town and beach.

The property is in a very good location. A quiet area yet only a few minutes from the town, beach, restaurants and cafes. The overall cleanliness of the property is good, but let down by the seating in the lounge which is way past its usefulness, showing its age with both stains on the arm rests and cushions, and uncomfortable too. The single bedRead mores in the second bedroom were also found to be uncomfortable and noisy with squeaky springs. There is no wardrobe in this bedroom so nowhere to hang any clothes. The towels as provided in the property were clean, but at least one of the towels had holes in it, we didn't bother checking the rest. Because of the comfort issues we left after 3 days. Hide

Fantastic location very peaceful and not far from the beach and town with some lovely places to eat

The house was very clean and the location was good, however there were some things lacking that should be available in all properties these days, especially ones that charge such a lot of money. For example, there was no Wi-Fi which was hugely inconvenient as I had work to do, and also totally unexpected these days. Whilst the information did notRead more explicitly say there would be Wi-Fi, Internet connection is so normal that it is to be expected. The fact that there was no Wi-Fi connection should have been mentioned explicitly. There were other little things missing too such as no full length mirror, no oven gloves, no clothes airer and insufficient pegs. The television was hard to navigate as all the channels were set up very strangely and, as there was no internet connection, none of the smart features on it could be used. We really liked the house and will stay again, but Wi-Fi really should be a given in this day and age. Hide
