Excellent holiday situation with just a few steps across the Esplanade to the magnificent beach for swimming , water sports or just lazing in a deck chair.

Situated on the FIRST FLOOR, accessed at GROUND FLOOR level, at the rear.

Completely refurbished and furnished to an excellent standard. All rooms with sea views of Lyme Bay, from the front and side windows of apartment. Two steps to front door, handrails both sides, two further steps, hand rail to left, into Hall.

Once inside access is step free and level. Spacious Lounge with double aspect side windows with sea views of Lyme Bay. Well fitted and equipped Kitchen/Diner, bay windows with window seats, side window with sea views, also rear window overlooking the cricket ground.

Bedroom 1: King size, spectacular sea views over the Esplanade.

Bedroom 2: Twin, sea views from the side window.

Family Shower Room: Shower, basin, WC.

Outdoor Facilities:
A small wooden bench outside by the apartment entrance. Directly to the rear of the property there is also the added bonus of open access to the town cricket pitch with deckchairs at no extra charge except when a match is being played.

Parking at town car park just over a 5-minute walk away, reasonably priced weekly ticket, £25 pw which entitles you to park in other East Devon District Council car parks. Alternatively parking in private operated car park next door, Bedford Lawn, Esplanade. Plus nearby street parking in Glen Road and other surrounding roads.

Short Breaks: These are available between October and March excluding school and Bank Holidays.

Location and Area:
Excellent holiday situation with just a few steps across the Esplanade to the magnificent beach for swimming, water sports or just lazing in a deck chair.

Conveniently, just a couple of minutes level stroll to the town centre with a wide selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, theatre, a little further to the indoor swimming pool and cinema.

The famous beautiful ‘Connaught Gardens’ with a fascinating range of plants and café are less than a 5 minute walk away. From these gardens a flight of steps called ‘Jacobs Ladder’ takes you down to the sandy beach below. Stunning cliff top walks along the Jurassic Coast to Weston and Branscombe in one direction and Ladram Bay in the other.

The picture postcard village of Branscombe with working forge, old bakery tea rooms, mill, two traditional inns serving excellent food and the fishing village of Beer are a 15-minute drive away, passing by the famous Donkey Sanctuary at Weston.

The pretty coastal towns of Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth are an easy drive away.

Marnies view was perfect for us. My husband is disabled but managed the steps into the property with the aid of hand rails. Once inside everything on one level was perfect. Views from every window and he especially enjoyed watching the cricket match from the kitchen.

A good location and easy to access accomodation. Sitting room is very spacious and bedrooms have nice views of the seafront. We managed to park free on the street between the Belmont and the Victoria hotels so didnt need the car park. Only minor gripes were the low pressure shower and rather low sofas ( we sat on cushions to raise the height). SmRead moreart TV has most apps installed, but youll need to bring your own Netflix etc logins to access content. Hide

First time staying in Sidmouth & though the location of the property was excellent. Just over the road to the beach & 5 mins walk to town centre. Apartment very well equipped & bright & comfortable. Would stay here again.

The flat was immaculately clean and spacious in an extremely cental location. Loved that there was sea views from all rooms and the view from the bedroom is breathtaking. The flat really is just a stones throw from the beach and we enjoyed walking over to sit on a bench and just look out to sea. There is just two steps up to the flat so I really thRead moreink I would be suitable for most people. Although we didn't really cook, the kitchen seemed to have all you could possibly need. We really enjoyed our stay in Marnies view. Lovely roomy flat with wonderful sea views and comfy beds. So very convenient for walking the seafront and the good selection of shops. It was also convenient to park in the car park next door, which had an attendant during daylight hours. Would happily return to Sidmouth.

Very quiet, despite second bedroom being next to the car park. Views good from different rooms. Only two steps up to the property and then all level which is good for access. Close to town centre and the sea so great for flat walks too. Beautiful, unspoilt seaside town with plenty going on and friendly residents and business owners.

Stunning property in a fantastic location. Just returned from a fabulous visit to Sidmouth with my parents who before covid visited Sidmouth every year! My mum has mobility issues but she found the property easy to access . Property well equipped and very clean. I am already looking to book for 2024!

We have been to Marnies View six or eight times. The location is great for us. We are not very fit and find the flat promenade suits us .
