If this wasn't enough, there are also french doors leading to a charming courtyard, equipped with garden furniture to enjoy the last of the evening sunshine.
Beccles is a hub of activity, with a range of year round events including a Food Festival, Triathlon, Antiques Markets, Carnival, Beer Festival and much more. Beccles Public Hall & Theatre in the centre of town has a varied programme of shows and concerts. With a good selection of independent shops and eateries, you really will be spoilt for choice. Why not take a boat trip on Big Dog Ferry along the River Waveney, Gateway to the Broads – a great way to sight-see not only the rolling countryside but a fantastic array of wildlife. You could also enjoy the magnificent open air lido just a short walk from the property.

Beccles is a popular holiday destination situated on the Norfolk Broads, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Beccles is an extremely attractive medieval market town situated by the river Waveney, which runs along the town boundary. The town offers excellent exploration to the Norfolk Broads and has some of the most beautiful stretches of the river within the Norfolk Broads National Park. It is also just a short drive or cycle ride to the Suffolk Heritage Coast and Southwold and Walberswick. Amongst various boating activities, there are also riverside walks, the award winning outdoor swimming pool – Beccles Lido, golf course and many attractive surrounding villages. Beccles town has a complex of good town pubs and excellent restaurants, surrounded by quaint shops offering a variety of gifts and produce. Beccles is an ideal base to explore the sandy beaches, woodlands and parks of Norfolk and Suffolk. There is also a train station with direct trains from London and bus depot.
