Stylish and contemporary, but comfortable, well-equipped and practical too. The fabulous south facing private rear garden has been cleverly divided into separate areas creating a safe environment for children to play, adults to entertain and or anyone just wanting to relax. The pleasant village of Snettisham offers something for everyone, whatever your age and whatever the weather! The local beach is within three miles, where you will also find a sailing club, and the traditional seaside resort of Hunstanton is just five miles away. There are many excellent walks and cycle rides in the area, and both Snettisham Park, with its farm and deer safari, and Norfolk Lavender at Heacham are close by. The village has a selection of shops and there are also good pubs and restaurants serving excellent food.

Excellent holiday base. Probably the best dog friendly accommodation we have stayed at. Enclosed garden was great for our dog, he loved exploring. House is very well equipped and well laid out and presented. Great location for visiting north Norfolk. Snettisham has everything you need, shop, cafes, pubs, lovely base.

A lovely place to stay. Fab space inside and out. The children enjoyed the trampoline and the cupboard of toys/puzzles/books was very handy. Great location to explore the amazing north Norfolk coast and surrounding areas.

Superb cottage - really well equipped and very comfortable stay. Excellent location for visiting lots of lovely villages and beaches. We had a fantastic holiday here and will definitely be returning!

Avondale Cottage was absolutely perfect for us. The wine, chocolate and dog treats were a lovely touch to welcome us to the property. The house is well situated within easy walking distance of pubs and just a short drive away from Snettisham Beach. We were completely delighted with everything about the house. It was immaculately clean, the beds werRead moree supremely comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could need to cook a proper meal. We visited with our friends, who brought their two dogs. The dogs stayed in the kitchen and never went into the rest of the house and it was so easy to keep them out. Towards the end of our stay we noticed the perspex cover on the bottom of the door leading from the kitchen into the back hallway, which really impressed us. Parking was easy as Station Road is not busy and it's easy to park on the road as well as on the drive at the front of the property. This is the best holiday home I have ever stayed in! Hide

My wife and I along with our dog had a wonderful stay. The house is spacious and well appointed. The garden is large a secure so safe for our dog. The house is ideally situated to walk into Snettisham Village and explore the North Norfolk coast. Would definitely sty again.

Avondale cottage was such a lovely place to stay. The house is large and very comfortable. Well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday. Really nice large fully enclosed garden which was safe or our dog. We had a slight issue while we were there which was dealt with by the owner straight away. Genuinely, cottage is as per photos. No wide angle lenses used. Plenty of room inside and outside the cottage. Real home from home. All the equipment and comfort you need for a great stay. 2 sets of keys a bonus. Comfy beds, large kitchen, downstairs toilet. Ideal.

We had a super stay at Avondale, the village is lovely, it is in a good location to explore North Norfolk from and the property itself was very good. The house was very clean, the kitchen / diner is very spacious and well equipped and the beds comfortable. The garden is also very nice and the kids loved the trampoline. I would definitely recommend.
