Situated between Gunnerside and Muker, deep in the beautiful countryside of Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Oxnop Cottage offers you a very warm Yorkshire welcome.  As a working hill farm, the cottage is surrounded by its own land... here you can enjoy true peace and tranquillity and breath-taking views of the stunning Swaledale. 

This is a holiday cottage steeped in history with some date-stones showing 1685 although the property probably dates back a century earlier. Its mullion windows and beamed ceilings contrast with the contemporary kitchen providing modern day facilities. The en suite shower rooms to both bedrooms add to the comfort of this cosy cottage. 

Oxnop Cottage is situated 1.5 miles from the popular villages of Muker and Gunnerside, which have a variety of tea rooms, craft workshops and pubs which serve good food.  This property makes a superb base to explore the surrounding areas and the numerous attractions that the Dales has to offer.

A spacious, very comfortable and clean cottage with lovely views. An enjoyable walk over the Hils to Muker, and back along the river. Lots of wildlife to see.

A lovely cottage style renovated property. Very cosy and warm. The views from the property are spectacular and just a short stroll from the river Swale where you can enjoy a beautiful riverside walk. The villages close by are lovely to visit, it is like stepping back in time, everything is slower and life is more relaxed. An excellent place to stayRead more if you wish to wind down and relax. We loved this cottage. It had character, it was well equipped, super clean, comfortable and the location was stunning. If youre looking for a quiet, restful holiday in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales then this is your place.

Lovely cottage on a working farm. Clean, comfortable and well equipped with fantastic views. Friendly hosts. Would recommend if you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy some tranquility.
