There is excellent walking and cycling along quiet lanes with many footpaths to explore. The sea is only three miles away and there are miles of diverse coastline to explore. The town of Holt is four miles away and offers good quality shopping, pubs and restaurants. There are village shops and pubs, which serve good food, within two miles. Located in a peaceful position, overlooking the village church, this property forms part of a traditional Norfolk barn. Sympathetically restored, with many original features, it now provides spacious, well-appointed accommodation, with quality furnishings and tasteful decor and has a fully enclosed garden. Field Dalling is well placed for exploring the splendid coastline and the pretty country villages that abound in this beautiful part of Norfolk.  There is excellent walking and cycling along quiet lanes with many footpaths to explore.  The sea and coastal marshes are only three miles away and two magnificent sandy beaches backed with pine woods with plenty of walks and cycle trails can be found at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham; easily accessible in a short drive.  The town of Holt offers boutique shopping, a great food store and plenty of pubs, coffee shops and restaurants to discover.  Whilst here do not miss out on a gorgeous steam railway journey along the coast to Sheringham.  National Trust houses at Felbrigg and Blickling and glorious parkland at Sheringham should also be on your ‘to do’ list.

The location was good for (car) access to most of the coastline. Pretty church opposite and close to lovely walks. The positives were the size, huge house, lots of space, good enclosed garden, parking for two cars. Great for hide and seek! The bedding and towels were clean and fresh. The owner was very pleasant and keen to help, he was very willinRead moreg. The sofas were comfy. The negatives however caused great dissatisfaction. The garden was scruffy until day 3. No hand soap, three toilet rolls (for 8 people), no kitchen roll, no cling film or foil. No surface cleaner. Also many cobwebs and their occupants. Not as clean as anyone would expect from a holiday rental.sadly no welcome basket, not even a pint of milk. After 5 hours we were desperate for a cuppa. Some positives but regrettably many negatives. We had a lovely stay at Church Barn with our three teenagers and dog. The house is comfy and very spacious. The garden is private and there is parking for 2 cars. Church Barn is in a great location for exploring North Norfolk. Jeremy was a pleasant and attentive host. We would happily recommend Church Barn for a family holiday!

Really good-sized house, 6 of us stayed and plenty of room. Very clean, located in a quiet village a small drive away from all main towns, beaches and several pubs. Very clean and well-equipped cottage. Very much enjoyed our stay!

We loved staying at Church barn. An ideal base for us for a family reunion. All vey comfortable and spacious. The children loved playing hide and seek as the house is so large. It is a great location to explore, beaches, churches and the local pubs.
