As a three generation group we had a lovely break in this beautiful farmhouse. It was cool during a heat wave and the accommodation suited all our needs. Beds were very comfortable and we felt very much at home at Bridge Farm. The locality is also perfect for exploring the coastal towns and villages as well as the North Yorkshire Moors.

I choose this cottage mainly for the 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as we were 3 couples but it was quite awkward as the bathroom with a shower was the on suite. An over the bath shower would have been a great addition

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Bridge Farm. It was furnished beautifully, beds were incredibly comfy, great location and lots to do in the surrounding areas. Milk and biscuits were left for our arrival, that was much appreciated. Beds were made up on arrival, tea towels and towels were provided. Cooker and washing machine in kitchen, 2 bathRead morerooms, 1 bath 1 shower. It was the perfect, peaceful stay, especially for my autistic son (who was recovering from an illness) he settled well there and has already asked when we'll be returning. We also enjoyed reading the family history regarding the house, and admiring the art works created by the owners mother. Would highly recommend a stay here. Hide

Our first visit to Bridge Farm, and although it initially seemed a bit unloved, we couldn't help falling for its shabby charm. The surrounding area is beautiful, and we were thrilled to find sea views from the bedrooms. A dishwasher would have been a bonus as there were 5 of us, but apart from that we had everything we needed, and would certainly rRead moreeturn. Hide

Wow, what a fantastic house! We had a wonderful time exploring both Whitby and Scarborough, and staying in this beautiful home made it even more special. The house is spacious, very well equipped, and perfectly located between the two towns. We were out and about most days, always looking forward to coming back to the comfort of the cottage in the Read moreevening. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning even the cows were friendly. This was our first time visiting the east coast, and it certainly wont be the last. We enjoyed the waterpark and an escape room in Scarborough, took the Captain Cook boat trip and visited the Abbey in Whitby, and spent a fun day at Flamingo Land. We also had a meal on a pirate ship in Whitby Bay, and a fantastic dinner at The Ferrier in Scarborough. We loved every moment and only wish we had stayed longer. The house was the perfect base for exploring, and we will definitely be coming back. Hide

Very spacious, good parking, excellent location, quiet and peaceful. Generally well stocked in the kitchen, apart from the items mentioned above. The washing machine was easy to use and we appreciated the washing lines and clothes pegs (the little things)
