The property was spotlessly clean when we arrived. A welcome pack awaited, thank you. I was a bit nervous regarding the parking, with the previous reviews, but it was fine, i have a qashqai. The cottage was well equipped. Hawes town was a short walk away, 10/20 mins depending on your fitness. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Lots of walks from thRead moree cottages and plenty of things to do. Big supermarkets about 25 miles aways Hide

We enjoyed a great weeks walking, based at Beckstones Yard. It was clean, warm and comfortable. Hawes was only a ten minute walk away. We would certainly book the cottage again.

A lovely warm, well equiped cottage but parking outside the cottage is impossible and dangerous.

Beckstones Yard is a very comfortable, spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and very well equipped holiday cottage. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, and everything in there is of a very high standard. There are plenty of walks right from the cottage, and it is only a ten minute walk into Hawes, where there is a good choice of restaurants, Read morecafes and pubs, along with a well stocked Spar and deli. The description on the website states that there is private parking for one car, but this is not the case. We had to park our car against the wall outside the property on the public road. This was not ideal as this is on a sharp corner in the road. Hide

One of the cleanest and most comfortable cottages that I've stayed in with loads of room for two (or 4) people to rattle around in.

A real gem of a cottage. Very clean, tastefully decorated and furnished and very well appointed with everything one would wish for, or expect. A credit to the owners and their caretaker. Most certainly would choose this property again. Very happy customer. Thank you.

Excellent accommodation, so much space. Lovely courtyard to sit in too. Beautiful walks from the doorstep. Lots of amenities and places to eat in Hawes, just down the road.

An extremely comfortable cottage, clean, warm and cosy. Plenty of sitting areas for people with different interests (ie, those who didn't want to watch the football!), giving space to relax. Beautifully positioned next to the beck, and an easy 10 minute walk to Hawes, no parking problems!

This was one of the best equipped and most comfortable self-catering places we have styed in (and we have styed in a lot!).. Being in Gayle was much better that staying in Hawes and there were a number of good walks from the house and a lot more without travelling far.
