Bwthyn y Fferm - Farm Cottage is a detached cottage in a fantastic location on the Cardigan Bay coast with beaches, countryside and historic sights all around. This pet-friendly two-bedroom property will suit families, friends and couples wanting a base close to some of Wales’s most incredible sights. Visit Snowdonia National Park, home to the highest mountain in England and Wales, Cardigan Bay with its resident dolphins, and the Llyn Peninsular, where you’ll find some of Wales’ most secluded and beautiful beaches. The village of Tal y Bont is less than a mile away and has restaurants, a pub and shop. The larger town of Barmouth is just 4 miles away, and the stunning expanse of Bennar Beach is less than half a mile from your door.

With unobstructed views of Cardigan Bay, this semi-detached cottage is part of a small family estate which includes 4 other holiday cottages for 2-4 guests, along with lodges in a rear field. 

Ground Floor

Lounge - traditional style with a comfortable three-piece suite, large TV and panoramic views of Cardigan Bay. Granite fireplace, oak floor and stone wall.

Kitchen diner - oak table and chairs with sea views in front of a granite fireplace. The kitchen comprises of cottage style cream cabinets with quarts stone work, an integrated fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob and under counter oven.

Downstairs toilet.

Upstairs

Bedroom 1 - this room faces west with view of the sea, double bed and TV, night stands, wardrobe and dressing table.

Bedroom 2 - again, this room faces west with sea view, 1 double and 1 2' 6"single bed (ideally for a child), along with a dressing table and plenty of storage space. 

Bathroom - includes a shower, toilet and wash basin.

Garden

Large enclosed lawn, furnished with wrought iron and wood benches, chairs and table. Panoramic views of Cardigan Bay.

Very nice cottage in a quiet location 5 minutes walk to the beach.Lovely enclosed garden for dog.would definitely come back again.

The cottage is in a brilliant location 5 minute walk to a beach that stretches for miles. There are 2 caravan parks near the cottage but these are privately owned. The cottage is very peaceful and surrounded by lots of lovely walks a short distance away. There's a low stone plant border in front of the front wall. We found this to be an easy step oRead morever the wall if your dog is that way inclined, we would have appreciated knowing about this in advance as Im sure other dog owners would to . Hide

This was a perfect sized cottage. Everything was as advertised. The location to the beach was excellent and to travel from to other local attractions. It was so quiet and relaxing with a beautiful view. The shower was perfect too. The garden is secure. The welcome gifts were a lovely treat and made for nice afternoon teas. Definitely recommend.

This is a lovely cottage and the view is great. Having the caravan park with a fish and chips and also a restaurant near was good.

Nice setting and a nice cottage in a quiet area. There are plenty of walks and the sea is close. Barmouth is a car drive away and is a lovely town and the train at Talybont was a great way to explore and is dog friendly.

Weve had a fantastic week in the cottage and would definitely go back. The cottage is in a stunning location with great views of the sea (which is only 5 minute walk) and hills. Its so peaceful with a lovely enclosed garden which is safe for a dog. Barmouth is only a 10 minute drive and theres a well stocked Spar and Onestop in Talybont which is a Read more5 minute drive. Just down the road is a great restaurant (Nineteen 57) and takeaway. The cottage is equipped with everything you need for a great break away. The smart tv and WiFi are excellent (thumbs up from our 15 and 17 year olds). Hide

Nice cottage, in a great location with lovely views. Well equipped, but did miss ironing board & iron. Would highly bhrecommend.
