Great cottage in a lovely remote part of Devon. 20/30 minute walk to the beach. Other beaches within a short drive. Small garden, not much space for children to play. Garden bench not very comfortable to sit for a long time and poor garden lighting. Space for parking.

Plenty of comfortable seating and great heaters Parking for 3 cars. Pub next door (but no problem with noise) and another further down in the village. Thanks

Pretty cottage set in one end of the village. Handily placed next door to a pub which served plain but well cooked food. Very low ceilings in places and stairs to toilet in night steep. appreciated the night light/torches supplied. within walking distance of beach and lovely walks.

Lovely property, the roads are tight but you expect this with its location. This property is lovely and next door to a country pub with another 20 minutes walk away. We loved the cottage - it was cosy and clean, and was also well placed on footpaths, and very near the pub! We had some problem getting the hot water running initially, and even once we did have hot running water we found that it ran out quickly (we could only ever get the bath a quarter full before the water ran out for example). Gill Cottage was perfect for us, beautiful place and spotlessly clean. One small suggestion is that the outside furniture needs investment. A pub type table/ bench seat was very uncomfortable as no back support so sadly couldn't sit outside all evening for dinner/ drinks. Also, the property sleeps 8 and the seating is really only for 4 to eat comfoRead morertably. The host left milk, jam, cream & scones for us, a lovely touch. Would definitely revisit if garden furniture improved. The area is so pretty and pub next door is great with no noise surprisingly! Overall thoroughly recommend. Hide
