In a quiet corner of Southwold, but a stones throw of both the high street, the common and the beach, Flat 1, Eversley Cottage is a charming one bedroom apartment for a couple or two friends looking to explore the delights of this ever popular Suffolk coastal town. This fully ground floor space has been utterly transformed to provide a welcoming, cosy but modern bolthole for two that is a joy to experience whatever the time of year. 

The front door opens onto a small hallway, with space for hanging coats and umbrellas, as well as walking shoes. The hallway leads round to the sitting room, L-shaped in size with a feature fireplace (please note, this is a non working fire) and to the far side of the room is a cosy corner, perfect for getting stuck into a book (a small library is provided at the apartment) or enjoying a glass of wine. There's an armchair and daybed here, which can be made up upon request should two wish for separate beds. The door from the sitting room opens out onto the fully enclosed patio garden, complete with furniture, this is a great space for dining alfresco, or cooking up a storm on the barbecue. 

Talking of cooking, the kitchen won't disappoint either! This multi-functional space also doubles up as a dining area, with table and chairs for up to 4. Fully-fitted units wrap around the room and there is the perfect ratio of appliances to storage space. So whether you want to truly self-cater or even grab a portion of fish and chips to enjoy within these homely four walls, there's room to do both. 

The true cherry on top is the master bedroom. At the front of the apartment, complete with bay window, there is ample clothes storage as well as a dressing table and Smart TV. A beautiful feature fireplace with original aquamarine tiles dictate the colour scheme of the room and a lovely array of scatter cushions and throws echo this colour wheel.

Parking: unallocated on-street parking on nearby roads

Heating: Gas central heating. 
Notes: Wifi, bed linen and towels provided. The daybed can be made up by request if 2 guests do not wish to share the King bed or to accommodate older children over 12 for a small family of 3 or 4.  

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

This was a beautifully presented and well equipped apartment. It was in a quiet location even though very close to the High Street and the South Common. Everything was easy to use and full instructions were provided. A nice choice of books and games if needed and cosy blankets for snuggling in front of the tv.

A lovely, spacious, well furnished apartment, once inside the front door (which as others have mentioned is rather shabby). Courtyard pretty and private, ideal in good weather. Excellent location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

An extremely comfortable, spacious, well furnished and well decorated flat close to all amenities in Southwold, yet very quiet. We also really appreciated the patio, with lovely roses and magnolia.

A very comfy, clean and well-appointed cottage within a short distance of the town centre. We really appreciated the welcome milk and fizz and the peaceful location - so close to the hidden gem of a picture house. We look forward to coming back - thank you we had a lovely stay.

The location of this property was in a lovely quiet spot but only a few minutes walk from Southwold Common and the high street! It was so well furnished and had everything you could possibly want from a holiday home! I could quite happily live in this property!! It was a truly wonderful stay. Thankyou so very much.

Ideal location in quiet street just around the corner from the High Street and easy walk to beach. The cottage is spacious with very comfy settees and bed. It is lovely to have the courtyard garden for breakfast and evening g&t's. We always managed to find a parking spot just outside the property. We didn't hear a peep from whoever lived above.
