Once sampled we are sure you will want to return again and again! Situated only 3 miles from the coast by car the best way to discover the idyllic Looe Valley is most definitely by foot from Ancient Cottage. Step into your walking boots and take a leisurely stroll along the footpath adjacent the West Looe river through Kilminorth woods to Looe, spectating magnificent wildlife; such as kingfishers, herons and other birds along the way. Whatever the season the mesmerizing beauty of the valley is right on your doorstep! For the more active among you, canoe along the river, hire a boat for the day or visit the nearby historic,picturesque fishing port of Polperro where you will find many shops, restaurants and inns to while away an hour or two. There are of course many beaches to explore too such as Talland, Lansallos, Looe, Millendreath and Seaton all located close by.
