Point Cottage is a secluded, mid-terrace, brick and flint Victorian cottage set in a charming private courtyard just metres from Blakeney High Street. Truly coastal, there is a wonderful view of the marshes and sea from the main bedroom window and the quayside is a short walk away. A lovely holiday bolt hole at any time of the year, the cottage is roomy, superbly equipped and beautifully furnished, creating a light and welcoming atmosphere. A stylish, spacious, modern kitchen is the hub of the house, with dining for 6 guests who can happily chatter together whilst the cook of the day creates, and others make plans for the next days' outings.  The bedrooms are attractively presented and allow the light to flood through; the master bedroom boasts a luxurious super king bed whilst the second bedroom offers versatility with the option of king size or twin beds and a bunk room children and adults alike can happily use. A wonderfully spacious south facing courtyard greets you on arrival with the soft scent of honeysuckle and lavender, a perfect place to enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple on a summer evening.  Shop/Pub 0.1 miles

Garden: To the front of the cottage there is a fully enclosed and spacious courtyard garden with table and chairs, there is also the added advantage of a novel warm outside shower ideal for washing off sand and salt-water between April and September. To the rear there is a second courtyard garden also with table and chairs. Secure bike storage available in the courtyard.


Parking: Roadway parking. As there is no private parking at the cottage, however there are options very close at the pay & display car parks. Coronation Car Park (High Street) approx 80m from the property, and Quayside car park which is free to all National Trust members, provided you display an appropriate window sticker. There is a also a free car park at the Village hall which is approx 400m from the property. 
Heating: Electric central heating. Wood burner.

Blakeney National Nature Reserves is a well-known part of the county with a beautiful harbour and located on the popular coastal path. Popular with locals and visitors to the area are visiting the seal colonies by boat with trips available from Blakeney and neighbouring Morston where you can enjoy close-up views of the grey seal colony. This location allows  easy access to discover the impressive coastal region with charming villages such as Cley-next-the-Sea, Wells-next-the-Sea, Burnham Market and Brancaster to the west. The area is renowned for its natural beauty and is a natural haven for sailors, bird watchers and families alike with quays and creeks to explore and wide sandy beaches to play on. With coastal walks on your doorstep there is plenty to enjoy locally as well as RSPB centres to visit and within easy reach such as Cley-next-the-Sea with viewing galleries directly over the salt marshes.

A lovely house set back from the road. Beds were comfortable and all the amenities were there. It was nice to eat outside in the front garden on some evenings - we had a fantastic week of weather. Highlights were the seal trip and visits to Holkham beach and Hall, Sheringham beach, local walks and some of the local pubs were really nice with good fRead moreood. Paid for parking [6 for 24hours] was just 50m away as there was no parking on the site. Thank you. Hide

A delightfully situated cottage, tastefully decorated and conveniently close to local amenities. We very much enjoyed our stay. An ideal base for anyone looking to explore the North Norfolk coast.

A beautiful cottage in the heart of Blakeney. We had a wonderful stay in this delightful cosy cottage, there was plenty of space for our young family and it's a fantastic location. We will definitely visit again!
