Driving through a meandering avenue of trees you will be greeted by Stone Farm in all its architectural glory. On your arrival the glistening water feature will immediately catch your attention as a striking feature of this beautifully designed property. Nestled in amongst the trees is this contemporary and breath-taking property – it really must be seen to be believed!

We’re not sure any words can truly do this fantastic space justice but we’re sure a glance through the photos will have you eager to book this one-of-a-kind getaway. Upon entering the property through the light-filled foyer you will be welcomed by a sweeping staircase, which leads to the wonderfully grand open plan kitchen, dining and living space. Elevated in the tree canopy and with windows all around there is an essence of a treetop hideaway throughout. Panoramic views rolling over the luscious Lavenham countryside are accentuated through curvaceous glass windows. The lounge provides the perfect place to unwind by the welcoming wood burner or get your nose stuck into a book whilst sinking into one of the many cosy sofas or armchairs. The heart of the home is the stylish dining space where friends and family can come together to make many special memories. Cooking certainly isn’t a chore in the deluxe kitchen, complete with island and doors out onto a balcony, you’ll never miss out on socialising in this open space.  Envisage yourself swinging open the doors to let in the fresh air whilst rustling up an array of culinary delights.

Each of the six bedrooms offer up a taste of elegance and all have an en-suite. Spacious, tastefully decorated and floor to ceiling windows… these rooms are perfect for recharging those batteries! Waking up to the idyllic countryside views will be the perfect way to begin your day. If this Suffolk getaway wasn’t enough already, then there’s even a rooftop terrace nestled amongst the trees. All your alfresco catering needs have been thought of with the availability of a barbeque and pizza oven at the ready. We’re certain you’ll want to spend many of your evenings out here in the fresh air, feeling like you could be anywhere in the world. Beautiful grounds surround the property and include a wild meadow garden, and for children, a trampoline, climbing frame and swings.

A former farmhouse to the local estate, Stone Farm is situated in the picturesque and historic town of Lavenham. This property offers up the perfect opportunity to explore. Surrounded by a network of beautiful walks and within close distance to some fantastic pubs – this could well be the Suffolk countryside retreat you’ve been searching for. If you feel you want to venture a bit further, then the town of Bury St Edmunds is just a 25 minute drive away. A wonderful place to visit, whatever the time of year, with stunning cathedral and Abbey gardens to visit and a renowned Christmas market to discover during the festive period.

What we love about this property: The perfect setting for families, friends and special occasions. It doesn’t compromise on quality, space or comfort and offers an unforgettable getaway for those looking for something truly special.

Once one of the wealthiest locations in England, Lavenham is now one of the country’s most well-preserved medieval towns. The town’s rich heritage was built on the wool and cloth trades and has resulted in this fabulous, iconic and picturesque destination which now boasts over 30 High Street businesses ranging from independent galleries and boutiques to exquisite restaurants. Over 360 of the eccentrically tilted, unique, half-timbered cottages are listed buildings and it is truly astounding how some of these wobbly characters are still standing today. However, even the wealthy wool merchants couldn’t remove Lavenham entirely from Suffolk life and every Sunday the farmers’ market, with its wonderful local breads, meats and fresh farm produce, reminds us of why this beautiful county is adored by so many foodies.
