Just off the lounge area you will find a sheltered courtyard surrounded by plants with a dining table and chairs, the perfect place to sip a glass of wine or dine al fresco after a day chilling out on the beach. The kitchen is well equipped, ideal to create your own signature dishes taking inspiration from the foodie haunts around every corner in Padstow. Alongside the many specialised seafood restaurants (including Rick Stein's and Prawn on the Lawn) recent additions include Barnaby’s and over on Rock, Paul Ainsworth's Mariners Retreat (definitely worth the short trip on the foot ferry from Padstow). 

The bustling harbour presents a variety of shops, cafes (Cherry Trees Coffee House is must), bakeries and restaurants with stunning beaches a short walk away. Padstow is renowned for the Camel Trail, where you can cycle a flat pathway to Wadebridge, or for the more agile some 15.8 miles to Bodmin where you can take a rest part way at the Camel Valley Vineyard and enjoy some locally grown award-winning wine. Prideaux Place (check opening times before you visit) is a good option too where you can book a tour around the house, sample a Cornish cream tea or light lunch in the fully licensed Terrace Tea Room overlooking the Deer Park. You are sure not to be disappointed with everything this area and Sandpiper has to offer!

Excellent spacious accommodation. More than adequate for us. Only minor issue was the dehumidifier having to be constantly on, but not a big deal. Parking space for our flat was adequate.

Brilliantly spacious, comfortable and well equipped property in a great location which made for a fantastic stay overall. Some noise from upstairs flat but to be expected. As noted in other reviews, also some issues with ventilation. We found it difficult to park our Seat Arona in the allocated space (number 1) alongside neighbouring vehicles anRead mored given the narrowness of the road outside. We chose the long stay car park close by instead which was good value at 26.40 for a whole week. Hide

The apartment was spacious and comfortable and had everything that we needed for a week long stay, the location was fantastic and a walk to the harbour only took a couple of minutes. Padstow was a great base for us with a few visits around south Cornwall and this made the parking space a must and the main reason we booked the accommodation - we havRead moree a Peugeot 208 and I wouldnt have wanted to park anything bigger in the tight space. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in Padstow. Hide

We liked a lot of things about this apartment but were disappointed that it smelt and felt slightly damp - presumably because it's two flights of stairs below street level. Other than that, the apartment is very spacious with comfortable beds and a lovely big sofa. It has good facilities and is in a great location - we loved being able to walk to sRead moreo many things in Padstow within a few minutes. There were plenty of cooking facilities in the kitchen and lots of children's crockery and cutlery, which we really appreciated. The courtyard is a nice outdoor space but for us, the apartment didn't look as light and airy as in the photos. Our car didn't fit into the allocated parking space, mainly because of the very large car parked in the next bay, but the car park was only five minutes away and cost 26 for the week. Hide

Lovely cottage well equipped great location, but be aware of the two flight of stairs to get to the apartment. If you have difficulty as I did found climbing these stairs hard work.
