Padstow is renowned for the Camel Trail, where you can cycle a flat pathway to Wadebridge, or for the more agile some 15.8 miles to Bodmin where you can take a rest part way at the Camel Valley Vineyard and enjoy some locally grown award-winning wine. Prideaux Place (check opening times before you visit) is a good option too where you can book a tour around the house, sample a Cornish cream tea or light lunch in the fully licensed Terrace Tea Room overlooking the Deer Park.
