Located in the heart of Beadnell, The Cottage is one of the oldest dwellings within the village. Old world features and charm mix with contemporary modern comforts to create a wonderful base for a break. This single storey property boasts a fantastic south facing garden, a large lawn with secure boundaries along with a heavenly sheltered patio, the garden is fully enclosed and a total suntrap - even in the colder months! 

Beadnell Haven and the golden sands of Beadnell Bay are within a short stroll from the property and the village amenities including newsagents, a fish and chip shop and two public houses are close by. Famous landmarks and sights are all within a easy drive from the property, Seahouses (2 miles) and Bamburgh (5 miles) offer plenty to see and the market town of Alnwick (12 miles) with it's famous castle and gardens that are worthy of a visit.

Ground Floor
The Cottage has a kitchen with dining table accommodating 6 guests. There's a king size bedroom room including wardrobe, dresser and storage drawers - this room can be requested as a twin. A further twin bedroom with fitted wardrobe and storage drawers and a double bedroom with storage drawers completes the bedrooms. The property has a new bathroom with shower over the bath, WC and hand basin and as well as a contemporary separate shower room with WC and hand basin. You also have access to a separate utility room with a washing machine.

The cottage is perfectly situated. Beach one way, pubs & shop another. All within 5 minutes walk. Brilliant large secured garden for dogs. Layout of cottage means 2 families can sleep away from each other & kitchen/living room in the middle. Even 2 separate access doors to the garden. We found it perfect.

We had a lovely week at Admiral Cottage, it had everything we needed and more. The grand daughters and dogs had a lovely time in the garden. We would definitely recommend it to friends and would stay there again .

Cottage absolutely lovely it felt like home from the moment we stepped in . We were so sad to leave . Garden was perfect for the dog as it was safe and secure . Beds comfy , showers lovely. We cannt wait to book again

We had a lovely week at Admiral Cottage. Nice layout, with only a few steps between room levels. Lovely big garden for the dogs to run around. Well equipped. Great location, a nice walk down to the Bay and all the other resorts are an easy driving distance away.

Lovely cosy cottage, beautiful village and only a couple minutes walk to the beach. Great enclosed garden for our dogs and lots of space for us all to spread out. Wonderful village shop and so much to do locally.

Great location, and much bigger than it looks from outside, also appreciated the off road parking for two cars. Bedding spotless and good sized fluffy towels. Garden is a great size and secure so perfect for us with two dogs in the party. We didnt cook at the property but there appeared to be good supply of cooking utensils. We had an issue with thRead moree hot water in the full bathroom but after contacting Holiday Cottages they arranged for plumber to visit and sort it out. Luckily there are two boilers so the kitchen and shower room had hot water. Short walk to bars and restaurants, and similarly to the beaches. Would stay here again. Hide

Lovely old cottage with lots of features in the heart of Beadnell. Close to village shop restaurants and pub. Modern bathrooms and kitchen. Huge enclosed lawned garden.

Admiral cottage is a beautiful and well thought out holiday property. It had everything we needed, was brilliantly located (only a short walk to the beach, shop and pub!). We and our dog loved the huge, fully enclosed garden. An excellent find, would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic stay here. The cottage was lovely. Comfortable and very well equipped. The garden was huge and fully enclosed so great for our dogs. The location in the middle of the village was ideal. Close to village shop and pub/restaurants, play park round the corner and not far to walk to the beach. Lots to do in the wider area too. We had a lovely week in Admiral Cottage. Having read a review from August we were concerned, but following reassurances from Original Cottages thats these comments/issues has been addressed we arrived and were really delighted with the cottage. Had everything we needed and well equipped. Would happily stop again and probably will.

A lovely cottage in a good location. Cottage layout worked really well with bedrooms at each end of the cottage and living rooms in the middle. Lovely garden, ideal for kids and a dog.

Excellent garden ! Really private, great for sitting out after long walks. We took our camping chairs which were needed for comfortable sitting outside. Great Egyptian cotton bedding and comfortable beds.
