This modern apartment is an ideal base from which to explore the castles and beaches of the Northumberland coastline. It’s set in the historic hamlet of Waren Mill and looks out over Budle Bay, an important bird sanctuary, and Holy Island (11 miles) which has a coastal castle, an ancient priory and plenty of pubs and cafes. The walk along the coast from Waren Mill to Bamburgh (2.5 miles) is considered one of the most spectacular in the whole of the UK, with the view as you approach Bamburgh second to none. Seahouses, a busy working harbour with seasonal boat trips to Farne Islands, a group of islands teeming with birds and seals, is 6 miles away.

The property features an open-plan living and dining area with comfortable seating set around a Smart TV and a dining table for six, and there’s a lovely, galley kitchen with three sea-facing windows. There are two double bedrooms with TVs, one with an en-suite bathroom, and a single bedroom that also boasts a TV. The lovely bathroom features a shower over the bath.

The apartment includes shared grounds leading to the sea, and is in an ideal position watching the many unusual birds that visit Budle Bay.

The apartment was spacious, well-appointed and equipped. It had everything we needed. There is WiFi but almost nonexistent phone signal. Great place to explore Northumberland from.

This apartment is in a fabulous location, but it's not welcoming or attractive. My stay was marred by problems of poor maintenance and presentation, almost all of which had already been recorded in the visitors book, in some cases several times. Since there is almost no connectivity (and if you do succeed in ringing the rental office - I stopped oRead moren the A1 twice after my departure to try to get through to tell them about various problems - there doesn't appear to be anyone answering the phone). Since this is such a wonderful destination, all this is a real shame, and a lost opportunity. My mark of an attractive rental is that I want to go back, and I usually do. I won't go back here. Hide

The property is located in a beautiful position. This property was properly poorly maintained and the standard of cleanliness needs to be greatly improved ie clean windows and surrounds . Bathrooms treated for mould and mildew ,the toilets property sanitised. Entering the property was difficult at all time due to faulty or not working locks. AdveRead morertised with 4tvs and only one small one working. All of the above are a great pity as if this was properly presented it could be a very comfortable place to stay in a beautiful setting Hide
