This modern apartment is an ideal base from which to explore the castles and beaches of the Northumberland coastline. It’s set in the historic hamlet of Waren Mill and looks out over Budle Bay, an important bird sanctuary, and Holy Island (11 miles) which has a coastal castle, an ancient priory and plenty of pubs and cafes. The walk along the coast from Waren Mill to Bamburgh (2.5 miles) is considered one of the most spectacular in the whole of the UK, with the view as you approach Bamburgh second to none. Seahouses, a busy working harbour with seasonal boat trips to Farne Islands, a group of islands teeming with birds and seals, is 6 miles away.

The property features an open-plan living and dining area with comfortable seating set around a Smart TV and a dining table for six, and there’s a lovely, galley kitchen with three sea-facing windows. There are two double bedrooms with TVs, one with an en-suite bathroom, and a single bedroom that also boasts a TV. The lovely bathroom features a shower over the bath.

The apartment includes shared grounds leading to the sea, and is in an ideal position watching the many unusual birds that visit Budle Bay.

Lovely good sized flat with a bonus area to sit and watch over the estuary. Location excellent easy access both for cars and public transport. Would more tha happily book again

This was a fabulous cottage with great great views and facilities including an extra little jetty cottage with fabulous views of the water birds close up We had a really great time here.
