Bodham is a lovely north Norfolk village with a good pub and just a short drive from Norfolk’s diverse coastline, beaches and pretty villages that dot this part of the coast. For traditional seaside entertainment, head for Cromer with its iconic Pier, you can pick up the Norfolk Coastal path here and there are some great walks along the clifftops. Younger members of the family will be entertained at nearby Amazona Zoo and history buffs will enjoy time at the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall, Gardens & Estate, which often hosts family event days throughout the year. Also run by the National Trust, Sheringham Park has acres to wander and explore; come in late spring for the spectacular rhododendrons and azaleas that flower here. There are some lovely views down to the coast too and you might spot the steam railway running along the coast line, pick up a ride from either the popular seaside town of Sheringham or the elegant, Georgian town of Holt. Both towns are worth a visit, take in a bit of culture at the Sheringham Little Theatre and enjoy local cuisine at the numerous restaurants in the town. Holt is full of independent boutique shopping, art and antique galleries and café culture. It has a great food hall and some good places to eat & drink, from vintage tea rooms with pretty gardens to excellent burger bars and pubs. There is a great deal to explore in the area and it will no doubt become one of those places that you want to return to time and again.

Lovely and cosy accommodation for couples. Ideally situated in a quiet village to explore the North Norfolk coast. We stayed in mid October and although the weather was changeable the heaters were very efficient and kept the cottage warmed to a nice even temperature. Great little cottage, immaculately decorated and furnished with everything you need. Good location to explore from, nice to come back to home comforts. It was very quiet when we visited so parking outside was very easy. Lovely garden although not directly attached to the cottage only takes two minutes to walk to, worth taking a mug of tea and enjoyRead moreing the views. The Red Hart pub is great if you don't want to drive out at night, food was freshly cooked. Hide

A lovely cottage with everything you need. Lovely garden area altho a little walk from the cottage. Parking can be tight if all cottages occupied but plenty parking in the village. The sun shines at the front in the evening so nice to sit outside and relax.
