Munton Cottage is a beautifully renovated terraced cottage set back from the small village green in the delightful village of Crakehall.

The cottage has been tastefully renovated and furnished with a contemporary feel, this charming cottage is both cosy and welcoming, with its wood burning stove and plush super king size bed it makes the perfect romantic getaway. Outside to the front of the cottage is a paved seating area with bistro style table and chairs and to the rear is a raised paved and flower border garden with table and chairs where you can sit on a summers day or relax and watch the sunset on an evening.

Up one step to the front door which takes you to:

Lounge:  A lovely room with beamed ceiling, wood floors, comfy sofa, chair, smart TV, dining table and chairs and log burner to cosy up to on cold nights.  Cupboard for coats and boot rack.

Kitchen: A well-equipped modern kitchen with light coloured wood units, electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, washer/dryer and Nespresso Krups coffee machine for your morning coffee.

Storeroom: A useful store with fridge/freezer, microwave, hoover, iron & ironing board.

Stairs to First Floor:

Bedroom 1: A sumptuous super king size bed which can be separated to form two singles if required. Smart TV.  Bedside drawers, matching wardrobe, and chest of drawers, providing plenty of space for all your holiday clothes. Suitcase storage under the bed.

Bathroom: A beautiful free-standing bath with double rainfall shower head over, wash hand basin on vanity unit, WC, illuminated mirror with shaver socket and heated towel rail. 

Outside: To the front of the property there is a paved seating area with bistro style table and chairs and raised flower borders. To the rear of the property, there is a garden with raised paved enclosed seating area with BBQ, table and chairs and flower borders.

Parking: Offloading at the front of the cottage. Parking available around the green.

Heating: Electric central heating and wood burning stove.

Short Breaks: Accepted all year round.

A truly beautiful cottage , modern, clean and with everything you need. Secure garden a real bonus for dog. Lovely quiet village with friendly people. Local pub was great. Easy access to James Herriot country . Would highly recommend and will return

A lovely well appointed cottage, extremely comfortable and so well equipped. Nice enclosed cottage gardens to front and rear of the property. No shortage of kitchen ware to cook evening meal with, very impressed with everything really, no problems at all. Bath too high for a shortie like me to climb in to use the lovely shower but thats my problem,Read more nothing a step stool couldnt help with!Good internet reception for when we needed it, but mainly out walking with our dog or generally exploring. So many trails to enjoy. Crakehall is a lovely village with several village greens and a friendly pub. Need to use Bedale for shops and they are more than adequate. We were blessed with such good weather so sat outside a few times.We had a wonderful 5 days and would definitely return. Hide

An excellent well appointed and cosy cottage. The bed was extremely comfortable we both had a great nights sleep. Peaceful location with easy access to shops in Bedale a five minutes drive. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is one of the best self catering properties weve ever stayed in. Lovely location. Very well furnished and extremely well equipped. The owners should be proud of having thought of pretty well everything you need on holiday.

Munton Cottage is delightful. Spotless, extremely well appointed and so so so comfortable - could not be faulted. It's location is excellent, quiet village but with excellent pub and good walking on its doorstep. The cottage enjoys a quiet location in a lovely village and benefits from an attractive secluded rear garden. It has been appointed, maintained and cleaned to a high standard throughout. If visiting this area again we wouldnt hesitate in rebooking Munton

Very cosy and comfortable cottage. Close to the A1 which is good for travelling to it. Also close to some nice shops, pubs & restaurants. Lots of walking locally and within a 20-30 minute drive

Munton cottage is in a fantastic location on the edge of a small village with a pub 2 minute walk away . The cottage is equipped superbly with everything of the highest quality , but best of all it is extremely dog friendly with properly enclosed gardens front and rear ..
