Property code: OC-BRAE

Perfectly situated in a quiet yet central part of the village of Reydon, just over the way from neighbouring seaside favourite Southwold. This is a great base for a family or group of friends looking for a getaway to explore the Suffolk coast and countryside. Having been recently renovated to a high standard this property offers an ideal escape for six.

This lovely spot offers peace and quiet along with ease for your stay. You’ll be close to amenities with two local shops and a pub nearby, yet just far enough out of the hustle and bustle that you can put your feet up and enjoy some well-deserved rest.

At the hub of this beautiful holiday home there is a spacious kitchen complete with island ready for you to rustle up all sorts of homecooked delights! It’s a super sociable space leading nicely to a wonderful sunroom which is a fantastic open plan living/dining space. From here you can enjoy views of the garden whilst relaxing in the open and airy space. Perhaps you would like to tuck yourself away for an evening in… well, the snug is perfect for that and the gas burner only adds to its cosiness!

The large ground floor bedroom is furnished with a king size bed and just along the hall you’ll find a ground floor shower room. Upstairs, there are two beautifully decorated bedrooms (one twin and one king) and the floor is complete with a bathroom perfect for helping you to relax and recharge your batteries!

Don’t leave any family members behind! Your four-legged friends are welcome at an extra charge here too and what a spot it is for them to enjoy. A lovely contained garden and hard flooring on the ground floor means it’s an ideal property for pets. We ask that pets are kept downstairs and off the furniture, but the owners have even added a fancy picket fence style stair gate which can be used to keep pets downstairs! You can enjoy many walks around this pretty area and it’s only a 15 minute walk from Southwold and there are some lovely river and marshland views along the way!

Comfortable house in a quiet location but easy access for Southwold. Enjoyed the rowing boat ferry to Walberswick. The Anglia Transport Museum near Lowestoft is worth a visit.

We thoroughly loved staying at Braeside. It was lovely to have plenty of room for the whole family. Each had own bathroom or shower room. The bedrooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. Grandchildren loved the games provided and adults enjoyed the tea and biscuits! We spent all our time in the kitchen/ dining/ relaxing area at the backRead more of the property. The location was only a 5min drive to the beach where there was ample parking (4ish for 6hrs?). Lovely local shop within walking distance. Sturdy 25min walk to the beach. Hide

House at the end of a very private unRead more adopted lane so it was peaceful but a bit bumpy with pot holes and as we had two cars we did have to reverse out the driveway sometimes but it wasn't a major issue. Would definitely recommend this property. Easy walk to Southwold, Plenty of walks around Reydon from the house. Two convenient shops nearby for essentials and Chinese that delivers.
