"Northcliffe was a dream! The views out to sea were lovely. Position was spot on with only a short walk to town or the pier. We did lots of reminiscing of my childhood in Southwold. The house was amazing. The décor was second to none, with its mix of modern, old and quirky and colourful, without being overpowering. A house you could just sit back and relax. Space for everyone, either together or apart. The beds were so comfortable, no one wanted to get up! We won’t hesitate in going back. Absolutely delightful". - Nina Dallorzo

Prime positioning on Southwold seafront and overlooking not just the beach but Southwold Pier too, Northcliffe is a breath-taking 6 bedroom property offering stylish living for 14 guests. Having been recently renovated, this property is a step above with high quality furnishings and fittings throughout and a real air of luxury about it. We think this property ticks all the boxes for your next coastal escape but don’t delay – book now to avoid disappointment!

With many of the rooms framing those wonderful sea views, you’re sure to get the best spot on the beach on those sunny days. We can’t think of anything better than soaking up the morning sun on the front terrace overlooking the beautiful North Sea.

Bringing the whole family together is easy in the spacious sitting room/diner, two separate zones that still provide a super sociable space. The sitting room is filled with plush furnishings and a welcoming woodburning stove, perfect for those chillier evenings. The dining room comfortably seats your whole party and we can see many memories and stories being shared here. For those who want to break away for a quiet five minutes or perhaps the children want their own space for the evening, then the snug is ideal. From here, it’s through into the kitchen – a lavish space with all the equipment and appliances ready for you to cook up some culinary delights.

Four of the six bedrooms are found on the first floor. The generous master bedroom with super king bed and ensuite offers the real ‘wow’ factor with impressive views over Southwold beach and pier. Just imagine waking up to those views! What’s more, there’s a sumptuous sofa to help you truly appreciate the panoramic view. The other three bedrooms have a lot to offer too, being beautifully decorated to provide a tranquil space perfect for recharging your batteries. There are two further en-suites on this floor and it is completed by a family bathroom, meaning no queues for a morning shower and you can get out and enjoy all Southwold has to offer.

Up to the second floor where you’ll find two further bedrooms, both with en-suite. Your ultimate comfort has truly been considered here with top quality fixtures and fittings at every turn and ample storage for clothing. Unrivalled sea views are the focal point of the front bedroom. The beds on this floor offer the option of being either a king or twin beds providing ideal flexibility to any large party looking for a coastal getaway.

To top this exceptional property off, you’ll have access to a small private courtyard area at the back plus a seating area to the front of the property. The front terrace overlooks the beach, what a perfect spot for your morning coffee or to watch the sunset! The renowned Southwold beach is a stone’s throw away, directly across the road and a mere 100 yards from the front door and Southwold’s high street is just a short walk away. Shop: 300 yards Pub: 200 yards.

It is often said that nothing changes in Southwold. However, the much-acclaimed pier was rebuilt in 2001 and was the first to be constructed in England in over 50 years. It now fits in well with the painted beach huts, promenade and colourful flowerbeds. There is a shop, cafes and an alternative amusement arcade there. The selection of properties' hereabouts makes it an ideal location to stay in Southwold if you require quiet accommodation that is also close to the beach, town centre and the many footpaths across the marshes leading you to the less explored areas of the town.

Ten of us enjoyed the comfort of Northcliff and the lovely decor with matching cushions, chairs, glasses and china. The kitchen is very well equipped too. We all enjoyed having our own en suites.

We had a lovely sunny week in Northcliffe. It's a very large house which easily accommodated the 10 of us aged 85 to 3, with spacious accommodation and lots of bathrooms. The internet was poor apart from the ground floor and some of the kitchen equipment could do with being updated, but the location was fabulous!

We had a lovely week at Northcliffe but there were only 6 of us and two small dogs. The house might sleep 14 but the living areas are not suitable for more than 8-10 maximum. There is no onsite parking and no garden. Having said that, the location is ideal for the beach and high street, the beds were super comfy and the electric showers were ideal Read moreas hot water never ran out. If you like nice coffee, take your own coffee machine as they don't have one at the property. I would only recommend this property to a friend if there were a maximum of 8-10 people (including small children) but it was great that they allow 2 dogs as many properties only allow one. Hide

Northcliffe was a dream! We were two families and our parents, ranging from 7 to 79 and dog. Five of us were there the whole week then the others visited throughout. Our parents are both poorly so really wanted this trip to be relaxing and togetherness. The views out to sea were lovely. Position was spot on with only a short walk to town or theRead more pier. We did lots of reminiscing of my childhood in Southwold. The house was amazing. The decor was second to none, with its mix of modern, old and quirky and colourful, without being overpowering. In fact, a new picture from the Serena Hall gallery is on order, as the picture in the lounge will forever remind me of our family time together. Absolutely loved it. A house you could just sit back and relax. Space for everyone, either together or apart. The beds were so comfortable, no one wanted to get up! We wont hesitate in going back. Absolutely delightful.
