Westgate Cottage, near Westgate Towers at the end of glorious medieval Canterbury's lively main high street, has everything this wonderful cathedral city has to offer on its doorstep, with the added bonus of its own parking and leafy courtyard garden and Westgate Garden, with its riverside walks, opposite. The cottage is a Georgian terraced worker's cottage retaining some of its original features.  It sleeps 4 in delightful double and twin bedrooms and has been sympathetically restored. This perfect little central hideaway has been tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. The cottage is in a great location and with the bonus of parking too! Though it can be a tight fit for a larger car. The road noise at the front is quite loud but you get used to it Canterbury and surrounding areas have so much to see and do. Recommend joining English Haritage!

Great location. Very good to have parking in the centre of the city. House was well presented and owner had considered everything for the perfect stay. Some traffic noise from road at front of property but not surprising given the central location. All in all a great property.

A very good and well located cottage. The parking was particularly useful. We really appreciated the welcome pack of box of chocolates, bottle of wine and milk.It had everything we needed for a week's stay.

Great location 2mins from town centre. Very well equipped property with everything you need in the kitchen. Lots of character in the cottage. Comfortable beds. Bedrooms upstairs and bathroom downstairs. Stairs are quite narrow and steep, if you have mobility issues.
