Cute cottage, lovely beds and bedrooms, a little tight for space could be annoying on a long stay, the location is to die for and parking is a bonus,

Lovely character cottage with a very quiet central location and lovely views. Parking excellent, fluffy towels, good quality linen, great mattress, great to have good light blocking curtains in bedrooms and decor all exceptional. Like other reviews, the stairs are very steep and the shower cubicle is very small with a fixed overhead shower head andRead more no shelf in it which can be a bit awkward so things to bear in mind depending on ones age/ size. The property was slightly dusty and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner but it wasnt enough to deter me or enjoy our stay any less. Lovely to have the host check we were ok once checked in, the welcome pack doesnt have many suggestions or any leaflets in so make sure you dont rely on it (tourist info office in town). Hide

This is a really lovely cottage in an excellent location for Swanage. Just a minutes walk from Love Cake (fabulous cakes and breakfasts) and very easy walking to several pubs and the beach. The cottage is wonderfully presented, the log fire is a real bonus with the recent weather and the shower is great!

A lovely little cottage in a superb position in the heart of Swanage, with the great extra benefits of a parking place and a small garden. Facilities are good with an excellent shower, bath and comfortable beds. The stairs are steep, and might be a problem for some adults and small children.

Our second year at Farthing Cottage and we loved it. Cozy, comfortable, got everything you need. Nicely decorated. Right in town but still lovely and quiet. Pretty little garden too. And the icing on the cake, it now comes with a parking space!

Perhaps not ideal for the over 70s, unless very fit, in view of the stairs and parking situation.

Lovely quirky and comfortable cottage but not suitable for anyone walking difficulties as the stairs are quite steep. Always had a good nights sleep due to the extremely comfy bed. Ideally situated for the beach, town centre shops, pubs and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the cottage and Swanage.
