Nethercott Manor Farm is still very much a working farm with cattle and sheep and is conveniently situated just a few miles off the main North Devon link road making it an ideal location for those wishing to explore the wonders of Exmoor and its surrounding villages, towns and coastal beauty spots. The bustling market town of South Molton is a scenic 6 miles drive, which offers a wide range of amenities from a supermarket, swimming pool, bank and boutique style shops, or if it’s just a village shop/Post office you’re after than Bishops Nympton is a closer 3 miles. Back on the farm, visitors have access to over 160 acres of land, direct from the garden, which the four-legged family members will love, especially the stream to cool off in the summer months.
Stepping through the front door you get an idea of how spacious the property is, with large tiled hallway, cloakroom off with downstairs WC, and curved staircase with large church style window. The kitchen is beautifully decorated and in keeping with the farmhouse style, with exposed wood flooring, long dining table, large centre island and Aga which can be used to cook on, however there is a separate electric cooker with hob if you prefer. A utility room with washing machine, dishwasher and butler sink along with another study area is located off the kitchen, providing plenty of space for family pets to have their own area of the house, or for children to plug in their own games console. On the west side of the house the living room provides comfort and style with crushed velvet sofas, wood burner in stone inglenook, large flat screen TV and patio doors which open up onto the garden. Upstairs there is a large landing area with two bedrooms off, one super-king-size bed that can be made into twin beds upon request with ensuite and garden views and a further Super king which can be changed into twins on request. There is also a family bathroom with bath and separate WC. Outside there is a large garden with seating area and swing bench, a gate leads through to the next field where guests are welcome to walk down to the stream at the bottom and enjoy evening walks in the surrounding countryside.
