Stonehills Cottage is located in the popular seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea with a picturesque harbour, pretty shops, restaurants and beautiful soft sandy beaches all within walking distance. There are two double bedrooms, twin and double size and two bathrooms; ideal for couples or families with a Juliet balcony to the rear overlooking the playing field with views to the pinewoods beyond. The enclosed garden at the rear of the cottage is an ideal spot to enjoy barbecues in the summer with friends, family and your four-legged friend - with two well-behaved dogs welcome. Wells-next-the-Sea is a popular coastal town on the North Norfolk coast with an impressive harbour. There is plenty to occupy visitors throughout the year whether crabbing on the quayside whilst taking in the sights of the sailing boats or hop aboard the small gauge railway and enjoy making sandcastles on the soft sandy beaches with colourful beach huts and a backdrop of woodland pines.
Pop into the beach cafe and warm your toes by the woodburner with your four-legged friend, the cafe is open year-round perfect for hot chocolate and cake in the winter. Set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are plenty of popular sights to discover, take a short trip along the coast road to nearby Holkham Hall with your little ones and discover the adventure playground, woodland walks and walled gardens. A variety of events are held here every year with candle-lit tours of the impressive marble hall at Christmas-time. The area is ideal for walking or birdwatching and there is a vintage steam train that will take you the 5 miles to the pretty village of Walsingham. The National Trust at Blakeney Nature Reserve is just five miles away, and the traditional seaside town of Cromer with Victorian pier is 20 miles away.

Very comfortable & cosy. Great location, off road parking is handy. Ideal for small to mid car size.great local fish n chips with plenty of walks nearby.

This cottage is a Gem in Wells. Warm comfortable and perfectly equipped for a family stay. The location is outstanding , close to the Harbour and the shops and onsight parking ,a rarity in Wells. The courtyard garden has uninterrupted views towards the sea and also has lovely outside seating. This cottage is a real home from home !

The cottage was very comfortable, well-equipped with everything we could want, and very clean and welcoming. The only thing I was less than happy with was the parking space, which was very tight and involved reversing down a narrow space between two walls. Luckily I have a small car - anyone with anything bigger than a Fiesta might struggle to opRead moreen the door once parked! However this would not deter me from booking the cottage again, as I was able to find parking spaces in the road Hide

Ideally located for beach, harbour and shops but quiet. It suited the two of us. The dining area is very cramped, partly because there are six heavy dining chairs and nowhere to move the unwanted ones to. Other niggles: an immoveable child gate across lounge doorway and only one door key provided. This cottage is in a lovely location and is well equipped. On the downside, the sofa was stained and smelt badly of dog. Similarly the carpet downstairs and the chair cover for outside were stained and smelt of dog.

A really comfortable cottage, great location in Wells Next The Sea. Its not 5* luxury but a well equipped kitchen and lovely living room with large TV and very comfy sofa. Bedrooms were a good size but lack storage. Yes, some maintenance/ decorative jobs would make this even better but for a relaxing break we were very pleased with our booking.

Fantastic cottage in great location. We received a 10% refund as unfortunately we were not able to park at the property due to roadworks outside. The refund and communication was handled quickly. I would highly recommend Stonehill Cottage for its great location and a well equipped property offering everything we needed.

The cottage is in a good location but there were so many annoying maintenance issues that I can openly state it is over priced and lacks the care required for it to be a good place to spend some time. I would not rent it again.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location for the town and beach, bit tricky getting in and out of the parking space but lucky it was provided with one. Great location - easy access to all amenities and lots of great dog walks. Comfy beds and sofa. We love the Two Magpies Bakery and had great meals at The Globe and Ollies Restaurant (both dog friendly).

A spacious and comfortable cottage within easy walking distance of The Quay. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery, cookware and modern appliances. Both bathrooms were well appointed and the sitting room was cosy. Car parking on site, for a small car, was a real plus as was the patio.

Fabulous location with views across open fields towards the beach. This is a cosy cottage which we found very comfortable for our 5 day stay. Off road parking was a real plus with this cottage.

Stonehills is very well located, extremely close to the harbour. It was well equipped, comfortable and clean. In all it was perfect for my wife, myself and our two grandchildren, aged 10 and 8.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Only issues were the lack of instructions (e.g. WiFi password) and a warning that the upstairs shower is not suitable to anyone over 510 would have been helpful !
