Fishing trips can be booked from Penzance harbour, and why not book a day visit on the Scillonian to the Isles of Scilly and see their outstanding, unspoilt beauty. St Ives and Land’s End are close by and there are many highly-renowned beaches are a short drive away including the famous Sennen Cove. The long, curved, sandy beach and small harbour combines working fishing port with laid-back surfing atmosphere. Wherrytown Beach is a large stretch of pebbles between Penzance and Newlyn and is dog-friendly all year round so a lovely place for a stroll at lower tide.
