Standing proud on the grounds of a former outbuilding, The Green Shed is a newly constructed modern one bedroomed brick and timber lodge on the outskirts of Sudbourne and Orford and has been thoughtfully designed and furnished to provide memorable self-catering holidays in the heart of the Suffolk coastline. Completed in 2019, The Green Shed really is a spacious holiday home for two. The open plan living area features wrap around French doors to two sides, flooding the area with natural light, and providing fantastic views of the surrounding farmland. The oak staircase leads up to the large first floor bedroom, which again does not compromise on size. High, vaulted ceilings slope down at the sides, where you can dream of lying in the king size bed and admiring the beautiful view from the Juliet balcony.
Every element has been considered in this thoughtful build. The fitted open plan shaker kitchen is well-equipped with butler sink, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, whilst the property also enjoys both an en suite shower room and ground floor cloakroom. Although not enclosed, The Green Shed has a small garden area with lawn and patio, as well as a lovely covered veranda; an ideal spot for watching the sun go down, or simply sitting and looking at the stars.
The Green Shed is part of a beautiful trio of properties, with Lodge Farm Cottage (sleeps 4) and Lodge Farm Barn (sleeps 4) making it an ideal destination for group or family holidays.
The joy of The Green Shed is its location. Surrounded by open fields and situated on a family property, it offers holidaymakers a true mix of coast and countryside. A plethora of footpaths can be found close by and short a short walk takes you to the centre of Orford in approximately 20 minutes. Cyclists and nature lovers will enjoy exploring this delightful area and learning about its rich historical connections, be it at Orford Ness, Bawdsey Radar or Sutton Hoo. Not forgetting, the fantastic year round music programme and events to be appreciated at Snape Maltings, just a short distance by car.
So to enjoy a holiday in this deceptively spacious space, we recommend booking without delay! Pub: 1.1 miles, Shop: 1.1 miles.
