Comfortable place to stay. Nice walk to the church. Traffic noise from the A11 near by. The owner has two friendly small dogs that come to greet you, love both of them.

Remus is a beautiful cottage, full of character, history and elegant touches. Spacious and very well equipped, it makes you feel at home (sounds very much like a clich, but it really does!). It has been lovingly converted from an old smithy (the process documented in a photo album located on one of the shelves of the book cabinet in the living roomRead more).Very well equipped, with kitchen complete with all you may need for comfortable stay (including fresh farm eggs and assortment of other welcome gifts),, bathrooms with fragrant artisan soaps, a cosy living room with a collection of games, books, a fireplace, TV and a stereo. The cottage is surrounded by fields and just down a farm lane, about ten minutes walk, is St Ethelbert church, a place well worth visiting. Remus is also conveniently close to the A11. A big thank you to Dudley and Rachael for all the chats and wonderful time in Larling. Hide

We had a lovely relaxing time during our stay here, The owners were very welcoming along with both their friendly dogs the property was clean and comfortable along with a welcome pack of wine cake and biscuits. Even though it is a working farm it felt warm and inviting. I would certainly recommend a visit.
