Reydon is the neighbouring village to the seaside town of Southwold – the two are divided by Buss Creek, a narrow stretch of water where the fishing boats (busses) of the past used to tie up. Reydon is a charming village which has expanded over the years and has become very popular with holidaymakers and second home-owners due to its proximity to Southwold. There is a foothpath leading from the Lowestoft Road directly to the seafront which only takes ten minutes to walk. Reydon has the added advantage of two village shops, a health centre (recently re-located from Southwold), a village hall and The Randolph Hotel which is popular with the village locals. Reydon offers lots of great walks, cycle routes and in spring time Reydon Woods Nature Reserve is a must-see with its gorgeous spread of bluebells. The village also offers good links to the village of Blythburgh and Kessingland.

Lovely house with plenty of room for our group of nine which included two babies. Well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to take the footpath running alongside the marshes to get to Southwold. A nice quiet location.

A delightful cottage, cosy, warm and bright. Lovely secure garden. Fantastic location, only a short walk into Southwold and the beach. Great variety of walking straight from the door. Definitely ticks a lot of boxes for a relaxing break.

The house was lovely, it was warm and very clean in a quiet road. The garden was great for our two dogs as it was fully enclosed. The location was great, the shop was a 10 minute walk and the pub was 5 minutes! Southwold was lovely to visit and so was Aldeburgh a 25 minute drive. It was our first visit to the area and didnt disappoint

This is a fantastic property in a brilliant location. We easily parked 3 quite large cars on the drive. Probably the best cottage we have stayed in with the dogs - the garden is completely secure, the bedrooms and stairs can be closed off as can the front door, and the provision of dog bowls was a nice added touch. The open plan kitchen, dining andRead more lounge area was plenty large enough for a big family group and we were lucky enough to have weather which allowed us to fully open the bifold doors. It is a real home from home in terms of equipment - everything has been thought about. Hide
